"Similar scenario as other hotels in Ireland. They are not family friendly. Swimming pools kick children out by 6 PM. Nightly rates are insanely expensive. I truly don’t understand the point of a Hotel swimming pools that don’t allow children to swim in the evening"

"Great hotel. Room was compact but well equipped with everything you need. Don’t expect big closets and lots of room for luggage etc. This hotel is right in center of Dublin so great to walk to all of the attractions. I only rate it 4* because of the fact that parking is 100m away in a public carpark, and lugging cases to and fro was a bit of pain."

"We had a lovely spacious room. Very comfortable bed! The shower was fantastic. There was plenty of bathroom space to put your "stuff". Breakfast was good. Our only issue was that there was no airflow in the room. I understand no A/C, given the climate. But a fan would help to move the air."

"The room was spacious. It was great having a kitchenette, but 2 chairs should have been provided for 2 people, I know the kitchen table area is small, but some arrangement shoukd be made so to people can sit at a table and eat - even if it is folding chairs and a table added to the room. Also, more than 2 of everything (like forks, cups, plates, etc) should be in the cupboard. The rooms are probably set up for a single person to stay. I suggest when 2 people rent the room with the kitchenette...

"Handy location to get into Galway city centre. Plenty of free parking spaces available. Staff very friendly and helpful."

"We were so happy to see that this lovely space had room for us when we had to make some last minute travel changes! The owner was kind and happy to help us out with parking or directions. The house itself was clean, quiet, and easily accessible. I would recommend it to single or group travelers, our only regret is we were too busy for breakfast! Cheers!"

"We booked it for the advertised roof terrace. It had been closed down for some time I did broach this as an equally good hotel was almost €200 cheaper. It advertised the only roof terrace but I feel that was missold to us and thought it should have been dealt with The Sophie restaurant is ok"
