Hotel ist recht zentral gelegen auf einer belebten Straße. Es gibt einige freie Parkplätze im Hof, sonst kostenpflichtig auf der Straße. Das Hotel ist sauber und komfortabel, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, gibt jede Menge Informationen über alles rund um die Stadt. Es gibt auch ein recht gutes wifi. Frühstück Standard aber frisch. Die Zimmer zum Hof sind ruhiger. Das Personal spricht englisch.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of construction next to the hotel and the noise is not very pleasing during the day. It’s a clean hotel, but with some updates it would make it a great hotel (21” TV in the room).

Great location with excellent staff

I had a really pleasant stay at the Alexis Hotel. The hotel is in a great location and the staff were wonderful. The WIFI was a but hit and miss but nothing to complain about. I would really consider staying there again. Well recommended.

Peccato che, prenotando online, ci sono stati poi richiesti altri costi aggiuntivi (colazione, parcheggio, etc.) - non indicati nella prenotazione online - in reception con il personale, a nostro parere, molto scortese nell'interagire con l'utente. In particolare avevamo prenotato due stanze doppie ma loro dicevano avevamo prenotato due singole così abbiamo dovuto pagare un supplemento per il doppio letto. Sicuramente non ci torneremo.

Langt bedre end forventet

Virkelig glædelig overraskelse - jeg havde måske ikke de højeste forventninger til et hotel i den prisklasse i Cluj, men det var så fint. Køleskabet virkede desværre ikke, men ellers så var alt super fint alt taget i betragtning. Ret lydt dog.

a long way from a 3-star hotel

This hotel is listed as a 3-star hotel. I beg to differ: it is a very good 2 star hotel, but in no way a 3 star hotel. Here are my objections to the hype: 1) the hotel advertised that they offer "designer toiletries". Hand soap, shower gel, and shampoo, however, could be found in large refillable dispensers mounted on the wall. The brand of the products was unknowable and the quality questionable. It also gave the bathroom the feel of a locker-room shower designed for mass traffic. If the hotel wishes to advertise they provide "designer toiletries" they should do just that. 2) The towels were extremely rough: they had a sandpaper quality to them that I have never encountered. 3) The shower did not close properly - a puddle formed in the bathroom from taking a short shower 4) There are clear signs that the room was not constructed or renovated properly or recently enough: clear evidence of patchwork on the walls, the paint at the bottom of the bathroom door started to come off 5) my room was difficult to access: from the elevator I had to go down a flight of stairs and then up another flight of stairs. This is not easily done with three large pieces of luggage that I had to haul up and down the stairs both at check in and at check out. I was glad I did not personally need handicapped access - it would have been impossible to access the room.

room was good. nothing flashy, but reasonably comfortable. The airlines lost my luggage, the transportation company lost my reservation. The hotel staff helped correct all other companies mistakes.
