"The refuge lives up to its name; a quiet cozy spot to retreat and recharge. We loved the ponies, big shady trees, and proximity to Assateague.
Our room was comfortable and clean; we had a mini fridge and a dehumidifier (critical in this region). I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel with daily housekeeping and where everything simply worked."

"Breakfast was very disappointing. Little:no good when we went to real fast room (it was only about 815) and the staff tried very hard to keep up was not able to. Are dry cereal w/o milk as news it was never filled again. No fresh fruit, most hot item containers empty for the entirety of our breakfast. Coffee and juice was available, but no real food."

"Stupendous and will go back again. The rooms are very spacious with a great view. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant next door was fantastic with large portions and fantastic food.
We did not have time to walk around the town, but drove through and it is extremely charming."

"Nice stay, clean hotel, friendly staff, easy access to the beach and nice pool. Could use a couple more umbrellas poolside. Bed pillows not great. Very lumpy so bring your own. Preference was to stay on the second floor, not the first floor with the doors out to parking lot. Breakfast is basic bagels, waffles, toast, muffins, yogurt and cereal. Kids really loved the waffles."

"only one complaint that the carpet was quite sticky. Other than that, wonderful location, great fishing and crabbing pier, very friendly staffs, nice swimming pool, veryclose to all locations. We really loved it.!"

"Spark is very close to the wildlife refuge. Walking distance to Blackfin and McDonald's. Our stay was comfortable and we'd stay here again."
