"The man who checked us in was pleasant and kind. He had to deal with a man who was lingering outside the hotel & kept coming in. The area around the hotel didn't feel the safest. Our room was loud, we could hear music from the casino close by, doors constantly slamming and I don't know if it was a car backfiring or gun shots that we heard a few times. "It was a very pleasant stay. It would have been nice to have a place to eat without having to drive somewhere. Our only real objection was that the room needs updated...the furniture has dirty arms on the sofa and chair, the ottoman type coffee table has scratches in it and the windows don't have pull curtains to block out the street lights.
