Though overall the room was clean, it looked like there was some kind of brawl in the bathroom: broken TP holder, door handle broke off and cracked sink. The worst was the hand towel that had imbedded short black hair into most of it. What was that Hskg attendant thinking as she or he hung that up neatly?? The rooms are dark and need to be updated desperately. But the conveniences of functioning Small Tv, safe, micro, and refrigerator were in the room. All lights worked and good ac. Family operated for sure.

Walking distance to shops, beach, restaurants . Ron Jon Surf shop 5 minute drive , 7/11, gas, lot of restaurants, Cocoa beach pier. 20 minute drive to Kennedy Space Center. No breakfast , no pets. No pool that I saw . Decent price , clean . No shuttle to cruise ports . Park near door .

We had to climb stairs to get to our room and staff was not very friendly when we asked for a first floor room and we were told we should’ve asked for that when we booked but they couldn’t have guaranteed that request. Tiled floor was filthy! Breakfast wasn’t very good either the waffle maker didn’t cook the waffles…they were raw inside even when left in for a second round. Would not stay there again!

No breakfast, no shuttles, on the television we couldn’t turn the volume up or down, and couldn't turn the television off, needed to unplug. Older decor, filthy floors and chair. I don’t recommend this hotel.

It had cockroach’s. We did not stay. Now we are trying to get a refund and you(Expedia). Said they can not get a hold of the manager to get an approval to refund you said I need to get a hold of them. I paid for protecting . Why do I need to contact the hotel to get approval. I think it should be your job. I sent the hotel an email and the main office for encolo lodge and no response. You booked the room and took my money but now you can not reach them. I am very upset and feel like you are scamming me I rented rooms and we did not stay there. Bugs in rooms. I feel you should refund the money as that is why people buy the protection. I would like a response on this Thank you Lori Randall

The staff is so friendly and helpful. It’s an old hotel but it was clean and everything worked. We stayed one night before our cruise. We parked the car all week for around $11 day and they gave us the number to book a shuttle that picked us up at the hotel for $22 (one way) It’s nothing fancy but it served its purpose and the folks are really nice. We will stay again.

Door was busted open and would not lock. Went to desk and they were unable to offer us another room than wasn't a smoking room. Gentleman said he would honor refund and when we did the request through Expedia they only honored one night refund. Only in the room for about 5 mins but it was dark and smelt very musty. Best Western down the street was much nicer and the same price.

The rooms were old and in need of attention. There were bugs in the room. The tv didn't work and they moved us to another room. The tv worked in the new room but the heat didn't. The stay wasn't worth near what the room cost. Overall a terrible experience.

The housekeeping staff and front desk personnel was very friendly and pleasant. The outside door on the room was hard to open as it was stuck shut. I had trouble getting the door unlocked and the deadbolt lock on the inside door did not work. The room had a nice snack room with a frig, microwave and cooking surface! The thing I did not like was the toilet was constantly running and after I reported this, it was not fixed.

This hotel is convenient for a one-night stay and is very close to the port. However, the property is in need of major upgrades. Our bathtub was peeling and the ottoman had stains on it. Thankfully, we had shower shoes—otherwise we wouldn’t have felt comfortable showering before our cruise. That said, the staff was very friendly, and the room overall was clean. With some renovations and updated fixtures, this place could be a much better stay.

Staff was extremely friendly. Room was dated and could use some updating, but was quite comfortable and you could not beat the price.
