"We were very pleased with our stay and will stay here again. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk folks were congenial. It's not ever really a knock, but there is no mar vista from the Hotel Mar Vista. A line of trees that blocks the view of the ocean. But this is Ocean Shores, not Fiji, so, no big."

"My room was upstairs and I wish I would have known that as I am older and very grateful that I had other friends staying there who helped me with getting suitcase up to the room! However, I loved my room. It had a very comfortable bed, a couch and a comfy chair and a small bathroom. It was small but pleasantly quaint and was clean. It was perfect for the times I was in the room and I would love to stay there again next year! I would like to know how to request a handicap room!"

"Surfcrest Resort proved to be the ultimate weekend getaway for my wife, our two medium-sized young dogs, and me! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how exceptionally dog-friendly the property is. Having dedicated dog-walking areas right on site made daily routines effortless, and having direct, easy access to the beach—where our dogs could safely run free—was a absolute highlight. While the resort features fantastic amenities like a large fire pit and a hot tub, we spent most of our daylight hours soaking up the warm, sunny weather outdoors. The room itself was fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals right in the unit, making for stress-free downtime. On the evening we decided to head out, town was just a quick 10-minute drive away with plenty of tasty dining options. One of our favorite parts of the stay was relaxing on our private balcony in the mornings and evenings, watching the Pacific Northwest fog roll in over the coast. Whether you are looking for a quiet spot to unwind or a memorable romantic date weekend with your spouse, Surfcrest Resort delivers. We can't wait to bring the dogs back!"

"Our room was comfortable in the space, layout and amenities. We loved the beach access path right out our back door. It was also a short walk to town. As others have mentioned the decor is a bit rundown and out dated but not a deal breaker just an observation. The breakfast was good with several warm and cold options. The staff members were all friendly and helpful."

"I consider the Grey Gull my home away from home. Depending on how much I have to spend for lodging I always have a beautiful space to stay in just a different size or view. Staff is great, it is always clean and welcoming. The hot tub is great and heated pool too. Close to everything and has a trail down to the ocean and a fire pit. My happy place 💛"
