The reception staff were friendly and professional, reception areas very nice. The room was very clean and modern, well paid d out. Would have given 5 stars but the pillows were t good and the bed was a bit firm for me.

Great staff. Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing some major work to the lobby, bar and restaurant areas along with fitting new carpets in the hallways. It’s a good hotel and we will be back but as a small hotel, work in communal areas have a big knock on impact on our enjoyment of the hotel.

Overall, the hotel was good and I had a pleasant stay. I did not receive any VIP benefits such as a room upgrade or similar perks. Steigenberger Hotel Köln
Room was good with nice view over Cologne. Breakfast was okay (very small room and not many options, for example fresh fruit). Gym was freezing cold (aircon was running although gym in basement and winter temperatures)
