"What a hidden gem. Hard to find but well worth it. The art is fantastic. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious!! Staff extremely accommodating."

"Impossible to get breakfast, staff incompetent and unhelpful"

"Lovely colonial hotel. Fabulous breakfast. Great salt water pool. Loads of history and character. Staff friendly and helpful."

"I've stayed at quite a few of the nicest hotels in Colombo over the past few years, both with my family and alone, and I'm really pleased I tried ITC this year. It's probably now my joint favourite alongside the Hilton Colombo Residences. It is superior to the Shangri-La (where the rooms are shoeboxes and the feeling is sterile) and Mt Lavinia (which seems too obsequious to a colonial past!). "Staff were the best, property needed upgrading"

"Good customer service"

"Nice, smallish room, great view to the ocean."

"Small boutique hotel in the heart of Colombo, walking distance to the ATM, cafes and restaurants. Service is friendly, personal and non- intrusive. Pool is small but enough for a quick dip. Gym is tiny but enough. Third time staying, will be back!"

"Got upgraded to a suit, that was super nice , very India and vegetarian friendly breakfast buffet - has Jain food as well - dosa, sambar, dhokla, poha etc . The bathtub inside the room with a view was great. Loved the blue tooth speaker in the room as well to enjoy some music. Room was largely clean, guest services are a hit or a miss , sometimes on time sometimes delayed. Laundry takes a day, If given in the night they give it back next day same time. Reception also helps with dollar exchange...

"Eventhough Expedia says "House keeping everyday", no house keeping at all. When I asked the staff the reply was "we only do house keeping every 4 days". I stayed for 3 nights."

"Nice location for those who like to walk around the city. Spacious room and helpful staff."

"Dirty and the house keeping entered my room early morning. Otherwise nice staff."

"In general for a three star hotel it is ok, however the toilet had an stuffy smell, which may be coming from the drains. Otherwise every thing is good"
