Motel masquerading as a SPA Hotel

Short Version See pictures for detailed information) - Rooms and bathrooms are small, shower already tight spaced with doors that don’t close properly. - By day 3, construction noise and chemicals smells from remodeling work became a big issue. - Receptionist did not offer solutions and lied about remodeling hours. Felt uncomfortable when asked for manager’s name, and refused to give any other information. - Same receptionist reached out later to apologize and acknowledged we should have not been placed in those rooms to begin with. Offered to move us to “upgraded” rooms. - “Upgraded” rooms were even worse. One of the rooms was directly under the ones being remodeled and worked on. Noise began at 8 AM - The other two rooms did not have a functioning air conditioner. Staff gave poor excuse and just said to open windows. There’s tons of noise far into the night from motor bikes and people playing music right across the hotel. - Hotel breakfast was motel level at best. You get eggs swimming in water and some cut up ham. Toasters barely worked, and when staff was asked for replacement they appeared completely clueless. - The spa experience was good when it came to the massage. However “quiet” policy is not enforced and hearing toilets go off right next to the spa area don’t help with the experience. - Check out was the final straw. Desk staff was rude and dismissive of concerns, stating that the room “upgrade” was sufficient compensation for the troubles.

ENCUENTRO CON LA NATURALEZA

Fuimos con mi pareja por cuatro dias, la pasamos muy bien, el personal es muy atento, el desayuno es la estrella del hotel, surtido y abundante, con unos alfajorcitos de maizena que estan de diez, la habitacion era con vista al rio en el primer piso, lo unico que note es que falta un poco de mantenimiento, la bañera de la habitacion 109 presenta detalles de deterioro en el esmalte que dan una mala imagen y una de las puertas corredizas del placard era muy dificultosa para correr, son cosas que hay que tener en cuenta en un hotel de esa categoria y por el precio que uno esta pagando

Nice area, okay hotel

The hotel is in a nice area, right by the water. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself was ok- not especially nice but not unclean. The hotel gave us 2 free drink coupons which we appreciated. At night there was a live band in the bar/lobby area. The hotel seemed overpriced for what it was. Walls were really thin, we could hear our neighbors talking. Breakfast was very good with a great view but when we arrived there were no plates left so we stood around for 5 minutes trying to find an employee, we ended up using the little coffee cup dishes. At some point we saw they put more plates out. Wifi did not work in the room, only lobby.

Hotel é bom, possuí bom restaurante, nível de limpeza aceitável e café da manhã atende com o proposto além de possuir uma vista linda do quarto andar. Ponto negativo somente para habitação que fiquei hospedado ser próximo do elevador e cada vez que acionavam o mesmo, fazia bastante barulho dentro do quarto, atrapalhando o sono. Dica para quem se hospedar, solicitar habitação que não seja nos fundos do elevador.
