Great day, clean, shower, bathroom area, convenient to the grocery store for food if needed the on-site accommodations have daily supplies that you can use/buy which is very helpful. Felt safe, we definitely stay again easy drive to the national park and other activities

This is a small gem. It is in close proximity to many national parks/monuments. Facilities are very clean we felt completely safe here. Good for children/dogs too

What a fun place to stay in Colorado City! These tents were so cute and surprisingly very spacious. The amenities were clean especially after a long day. We visited several national parks that were close by and loved coming back each night to such a fun , safe and comfortable place to stay. The host was wonderful in communicating and was responsive to all quesrions and needs. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

This was an amazing experience. I took a motorcycle trip from Canada and was able to stay in a tent in the desert with a view of the Milky Way at night. There was an air conditioner by my bed which was helpful since it was hot when I arrived. I recoomend this place!

This is such a cute and amazing place to stay! If you enjoy camping, but don't like setting up your own tent and also enjoy being able to shower, this is place for you! The views of the mountains around are great for watching sunrises and sunsets! Each site has there own grilling section and table to eat at, and there is a common area with a fire pit, what more could you ask for? A little under an hour drive to Zion, so if you plan on visiting the park, here is the perfect glamping experience!

Everything we expected from a "glamping" site. Communication was timely, friendly, and thorough; the safari tent was clean and well maintained; the bed was comfortable, and the space heaters were more than adequate for a chilly night. The single-user bathrooms and showers were clean, well maintained, and stocked. We will absolutely be frequenting again and recommending to our friends!

Booked this trip last minute and didnt have the opportunity to travel with a tent of my own so this was a great alternative option. It was in proximity to Zion and Bryce canyon and i appreciated how quiet the area is. We had some very cold nights and the heater and blankets did the job and sleeping was comfortable. The whole process was very easy and had.no problems during our stay.

We stayed in a wagon and it was surprisingly spacious and comfortable for 2 people. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The hot shower felt really good after an all day hike at Zion. The office is stocked with things you need for cooking/grilling, like pots & pans, paper plates and disposable cutlery. I highly recommend Desert Sage if you’re looking for a glamping place.

This is a unique find for us. We were traveling between Bryce Canyon, Zion, and the North Rim and this was centrally located. Everything was new and clean. The amenities made things very convenient and comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful all around.

My wife and I recently had the opportunity to stay at this unique property on the outskirts of Colorado City, AZ. I mean how often do you get to sleep in a pioneer style covered wagon!?! 😊 Wagon was spacious & clean with a very comfortable bed. Hosts thoughtfully provided a small firepit (which we used) and a grill (which we didn’t). Firewood and charcoal available, along with pretty much anything else you can think of. Groceries nearby allowed us to enjoy an evening picnic on the picnic table beside our wagon. Showers & bathrooms were clean, nearby and well lit at night. We stayed up outside in the evening looking at stars. Wow the stars! Amazingly quiet except for the occasional coyote howling in the desert which you back onto (solid wall fence provided barrier and great views). Great place to stay… highly recommend if you like a sense of adventure and romance!

Peaceful eacape

Such a beautiful place. About 3 ish hours drive from Vegas with a stop in st. george to charge up the tesla, this place is a peaceful escape from the vegas hustle. We stay in the glamping cabin and it has a private jacuzzi, tv/fridge/ microwave in the room. Soaking under the stars and moon is such bliss. They also have a Tesla charger here so we were able to leave at 100%. Will make this a regular visit. The Water Canyon winery 5 min away is fun too.

Great Camping Experience at Desert Sage

I had the pleasure of speaking to both Aaron and Danny, who are the owners when setting up my stay at Desert Sage. They are both great, friendly, and very accommodating individuals. The tents are clean, roomy and the campgrounds provide an opportunity for the camping experience but the convivences of restrooms and showers are close at hand. This is a perfect spot for grilling, campfires and stargazing just outside of your tent.

The manager was AWSOME. Very friendly. Mother Nature was rough but the manager compensated us for the inconvenience. The property is very clean and well kept. The bathrooms are Spic and span. I would recommend the spot to all my friends.
