"No frills but clean, comfy, and walking distance from some amazing bars. Staff was very sweet, free coffee all day, and it was surprisingly quiet. We will definitely stay here again."

"- room was excellent and very comfortable. - staff was very friendly and helpful. - breakfast was excellent. - enjoyed the decor in the room and in the hotel. - the pioneer square link station is just outside the hotel. - pike market is walking distance from the hotel. - in general, lots of dining places nearby. - one sad thing was the problem of homelessness that was evident in the neighborhood. many seemed to be high on drugs but did not cause any problems."

"Unique historic property in a great location. Our room was quiet and spacious, with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well. We left our car in their garage and walked ( or took the subway) where we wanted to go. The waterfront, Pike Place market, and the International District are all within walking distance 10-15 min). "Historic hotel, easy access /walkable to downtown and Capitol Hill. The hotel has wonderful space, clean, well appointed rooms and a lot of interesting things to do in the hotel as well (jazz, silent reading room with live piano), food is great and so are the cocktails."
