"Someone blasting music at pool just below our room. Complained to office..the reply ‘They are allowed to have music’ but we said it’s much too loud…shortly after it was turned down. Breakfast room was chaotic…no one in attendance…( next to front desk) guest dropped some part of waffle maker fell…broken parts and glass everywhere..screaming children…its a very small space very cramped …we left…still no one showed up until later when we checked out"

"Okay so. Staff were kind and friendly so I was conflicted when writing this review. I reserved 2 rooms. 1 was fine but the other smelled like mildew. We kept the bathroom fan running and the window ajar but couldn’t escape the odor. Possible the room was closed up after shampooing carpets, not sure. The bathroom did appear to have mildew along the floor at bathtub. I’m sure they would have given us a new room and in reflection, I’m not sure why I didn’t ask. Prob tired from the trip. "The room and shared spaces such as the coffee area were nice and tidy. The bathroom was large. There was one lounge chair in the room and one desk chair so a bit difficult to eat. The chairs in the back area were nice but there was no shade. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to find food whether it was restaurants or groceries. A very cute antique/gift store "downtown"."

"My room was clean, neat, and very not creepy. Tbh I thought I had gotten a reservation for Motel 6 but this place was cool and down to earth. I thought every place had a bad side of town. I thought this was gonna be horrible. Nothing happened. It's Willows California. It has maybe 3000 people in it if that. I met a super cool dude there along with the owners who were super helpful. It's actually a great place to stay on the cheap. All in all 5 stars because of the staff, owners, and renters...

"Front desk staff was very helpful and informative at check-in. Despite being told on the phone they couldn't guarantee a bottom floor room earlier in the week because I had booked through Expedia and not direct, I was pleased to have been accommodated, nonetheless."
