"Rude. Very loud cursing argument in hall between hotel room cleaners and maintenance man. Cleaning cart left in center of isle on two occasions and was not able to pass with my wheeled walker until my wife moved it. I have chosen La Quinta on dozens of previous stays.Always very pleased . "Our room was large, like a suite, very fresh & clean with nice bedside lighting features. Comfortable king bed. Only item that could be better is the startlingly loud power flush of the toilet. Pretty shocking the first time & disturbing at night. Very nice breakfast/ lounge area with extensive selections. Coffee could be better. Appreciated a map & guide for Brownwood in the room. Parking is plentiful with lobby entrances front & back. Pleasant staff at the desk & nice notes in the room from...

"Mirror lights in my room were broken. Came around 8am for breakfast and it was 100% empty - the only thing left was water. For paying close to $500, I expected more. If you have the extra coin, stay at the Best Western Plus in the area. It's significantly better."

"Our stay was short but enjoyable. We booked two rooms and had an issue with one. There were dried dead bugs under the air conditioner and live crawling, large water bugs in the room. The air conditioner didn’t work. The other room was great. With that being said, the staff are amazing!!! We did address the issues and the staff was more than willing to correct the issues. Thank you the the staff at the hotel for the personable interaction and willingness to accommodate. We will return."
