Chambre bruyante, bruits électriques, ventilation wc fort bruyante, mauvaise isolation interne, bruits de rue. Chambre mal assombrie. Odeurs d'égouts. Lit plus qu'usager, pas reposé. Pas de verre à dents. Avions demandé un grand lit double, avons reçu deux lits.

I love the excellent restaurant on Ground floor of Hotel. I enjoyed Great Coffee & variety of foods in the morning. I like the entrance atmosphere of this building. Just only one disappointed to the Reception staff. He’s looked too busy to talk to me.

We spent 13 nights here over Christmas and the New Year. It is not a hotel as such, but 7 hotel type rooms in a building with a restaurant on the ground floor. The location is fabulous with the superior rooms overlooking Lake Como. It is an easy walk into town or anywhere on the waterfront. The staff were nice at breakfast, and breakfast was quite sufficient. We did not dine in the restaurant but it was well patronized both at lunch and dinner, and the prices looked quite reasonable. Housekeeping was fine but maybe a little bit of attentiom could have been paid to restockimg tea, sugar, and some bathroom supplies. Parking was free but subject to availability so was a bit of a hassle, but parking anywhere in Como is difficult to find. We stayed here 4 years ago and would stay here again.

Das Auto muss auf der Straße abgestellt werden. Einen Parkplatz, der dann allerdings kostenlos ist, zu ergattern, ist je nach Tageszeit ein Glücksspiel.

Simple, pratique et bien situé

Hôtel en plein centre en face d’une des gare pour Milan, 5 min à pied du centre piéton et à 5 min de l’embarcadaire pour prendre le bateau et partir sur le lac. Hôtel propre, petit déjeuner copieux, mini bar libre service en bouteilles d’eau et un ou deux soda. Le lendemain au départ l’hotelier a offert 2 bouteilles d’eau pour la suite de notre périple. Seul petit bémol peut les murs communs au chambre mal insonorisé, mais je recommande ce gite

No podemos recomendar este hotel

A pesar de los esfuerzos del equipo del hotel, la estada no fue buena. La primera noche la habitación para dos adultos y una bebé era muy pequeña, el teléfono no funcionaba y el aire acondicionado casi no funcionaba y cuando lo hacía el ruido era excesivo. La segunda noche nos cambiaron a una habitación más grande y cómoda, lo cual agradecemos. El aire acondicionado funcionó muy bien y de manera silenciosa. Lamentablemente el frigobar inexplicablemente dejó de funcionar toda la noche y los quesos y jamones de Parma que habías comprado y habíamos colocado en ese frigobar se estropearon y tuvimos que botarlos a la basura. El desayuno y el restaurante fue lo mejor de la estada, pero teléfonos, a/a y frigobar que no funcionan bien arruinaron nuestra estada.

Not Bad

Room was pretty stark and the walls are paper thin so if you have loud neighbors or several of them as we did then it can be irritating. Other than that, the room was clean and the location is excellent.

pas de parking ,le deuxieme soir aucune place pour se garer . Il faut passer par l'extérieur pour avoir accès au restaurant. on entend tout ce qui se passe dans la chambre voisine et dans le couloir. Température de la chambre elevée et une clim qui ne fonctionne pas. Pas possible d'ouvrir la fenetre car proche de la gare.

Nao tem elevador

Esse estabelecimento nao poderia ser chamado de hotel. Nao por fazer o check in no bar do restaurante, mas por nao ter um lobby... area de encontro... NEM ELEVADOR TEM .... Imagina que minha sogra de 80 anos tinha de ficar subindo escada... Nao podia nem evitar, pois nao tinha um lugar pra ela ficar a nao ser no restaurante do hotel. Meu quarto tinha ate um tamanho bonzinho mas era suuuuper simples. O banheiro reformado era bom. O cafe da manha era bonzinho, mas a torradeira nao funcionava. Como o pao era dormido... a unica alternativa era o croissant. Podia deixar o carro estacionado nas vagas em frente ao hotel. Eu tive sorte, pois parei na porta. O carro ficou la por 2 dias. Por estar em um lugar movimentado, o quarto era silencioso, nao se escutava barulho da rua. Mas em compensação...se escutava o que os quartos vizinhos falavam ou faziam. O staff era bem atencioso, mas um pouco limitados pelas condições do hotel.

Hotel in fantastic location

Hotel is in a fantastic location, right on Lake Como. Parking is just out the front of the hotel , we found a park , I imagine in Summer it would be much more difficult! Rooms were clean & comfortable enough . Breakfast was nice , plenty of choices. Ate at the restaurant- be warned , there’s a €2.50 cover charge per person ( we have 4 kids , so that’s an extra €15 !!) for nothing, basically- you don’t get any bread & they won’t serve tap water ! Lake Como is stunning , & we could easily walk around from here , so I’d probably stet again , just wouldn’t eat at the restaurant!

Good choice.

This is a very nice moderately priced hotel. It is right by the water and located conveniently right across the street from the train station. It is on a bustling corner, but our window blocked out sound nicely. Our view was fantastic as we overlooked the front and right out to the water and mountains. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There was one manager who spoke a little English which helped. I thought the morning breakfast buffet was more than adequate and although nothing fancy, someone seemed to take pride in it based on the presentation. Honestly and sadly, we did not like the coffee. It was like really strong bad coffee. Our next hotel in Moltrasio had MUCH better coffee. This was strong AND good. We visited in late June and the weather was hot. Our AC did not work well at all so it was a bit hot. We did manage to cool things off at night by opening the windows to the lake breeze. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it without hesitation unless you are used to 5 star accommodations.

Amateur and rude management

Pro: Great location, well serviced, clean, working AC in summer Cons: Management have no idea how to run a hotel. They don't speak English. They called my room (and then my cell phone) repeatedly because they later decided (after my check in) that they did not like my ID cards and wanted alternative forms of ID. Then, after I had checked out, they decided that they "forgot" to get paid from hotels.com, and demanded that I return to Como (after I had already left Italy) in order to pay them. Absolutely unprofessional. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
