"It's a very nice, clean motel. Staff are friendly. We stayed one night before taking the ferry, and it was just what we needed. The furnishings are a little dated but the bathroom is newly renovated and very modern. The whole unit was very clean. Continental breakfast is free and includes boiled eggs, cereal, juice, yoghurt along with the basics like bread for toast and coffee, etc. The room has a small fridge and mini coffeemaker."

"Great location near to the ferry. All the staff were very polite and extremely helpful. We had a king bed in a room with a sea view, the room comfortable was tastefully decorated. Only downside, it was room so had to go elsewhere for breakfast."

"My wife and I stayed in the "Government Office" room #6 for a couple of nights. We found this found this room to be spacious and comfortable. The property had a ton of charm and character, as did the room, plus the diner was excellent for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely look to book here again if we were coming to this town."

"After a 13hr travel day, it was so nice to be welcomed by the amazing staff. Check in was seamless and the staff was so welcoming. Our room was clean and cozy. We had a great stay for 2 nights and will absolutely stay here again next time we make it out to Powell River."

"Jen helped me with my bags and took the time to talk. A lovely woman. She’s so welcoming. The room and bathroom were as spotless as always. The bed and pillows are always so comfortable and the location is right in town so you can walk everywhere. The lake is a short drive as well as hiking trails. I love the old hardwood floors , and comfy furnishings in the common areas. The kitchen is so spacious and has 2 stoves , big fridge and anything you need from Brita coffee makers to plates cups and...

"Beware, this hotel is 3k from town, no stores or restaurants nearby, no breakfast available. The room was ok, spacious, plastic cups only. Separately managed restaurant for dinner, our rating 5/10."

"Pros: Very affordable. Walkable to most shops/restaurants. Easy check in/check out. Room was clean. Cons: No outlets in the washroom. Outlets in the bedroom are on the opposite side of the bedside table (had to wrap the cord around the bed & mattress). Bathroom is very cramped - no counter space. In room coffee was terrible. Property is old - definitely showing its age."

"The golf course is wonderful and the starter is very friendly and welcoming. The room was not clean. There was a sticky mess in the drawer between the two beds, we had to broom spider webs from above the bed. The carpet in the room needs a shampoo. There were weeds on the patio and the restaurant floor was not clean. The Thai bowl and the salmon bowl were both flavourless. There are no EV chargers. The setting is beautiful but needs more attention to the details"
