"Central to Sorrento. Breath taking view. Classy room, spacious bath. Junior suite had great terrace. Fantastic breakfast. One of the best hotel stays in my life!!"
"The room wasn’t massive, and we didn’t have a very nice view from the balcony (basically over looking a building) but the room was all we needed from it. The bathroom was lovely and I must make mention of the maids and turn down service which was lovely. They were so efficient that we only used a towel once and then it had been replaced even though we’d hung them back up and didn’t really need replacing. Their washing bill must be huge! The bed was really short though; I’m only 5ft4” and my feet were dangling off the end at times so can only imagine it must be annoying for others who are taller.
Breakfast was lovely! Great selection and even prosecco and gelato were on offer. I didn’t have any as I don’t want that so early in a morning but it was nice to see it there.
The lift down to the beach front was really handy as it made getting to the port really quick and easy. Particularly liked the lift music 😄"
"Every single one of the staff is top level and goes way above and beyond to make you feel special! The service and food quality in their dinner venue is so amazing that I expect they will soon have a Michelin star! The hotel views and cliffside pool are key Amalfi vibes!"
"I appreciated Giovanni, the maitre d' at breakfast and dinner. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable as a solo traveler. We chatted and he gave me some local insights.
The complimentary shuttle service to the center of Amalfi and pick up at the ferry was so valuable. Unfortunately the young man who drives the shuttle is not friendly and not informed. I mentioned I planned a trip back to Sorrento on the high speed ferry and he told me there was no such thing. Really, I purchased a ticket online: a half hour 'vs 2 hours on the outbound trip. It's not helpful when locals provide misinformation. There are plenty of other people in hospitality who were helpful and didn't have this guy's bad attitude. Clearly it appears he doesn't like his job.
Hotel was a good value for the area and the food was good but not outstanding."
