The property was excellent. It had a Restaurant on site and the food was very good. It was very relaxing to stay on site and it had a swimming pool. There was also shuttle service available, but there was a charge of 10 Euros per person to use. There was a wonderful sunrise view from your room Balcony!

Beautiful location and stunning views, with a nice pool. However, the property is run down; not worth the price with old and very uncomfortable mattresses, worn towels, used toilet amenities , and poor maintenance. Breakfast was disappointing, some canned fruit and juices, not Italian experience. Restaurant staff were excellent tho.

We loved our stay at Hotel Belvedere — we celebrated our 30th anniversary and were treated like kings and queens. The pool is marvelous and the food outstanding. The staff was great; always available to assist with anything. We will be back!!

The staff were the highlight to our trip. Peppe greeted us every morning for breakfast and every night for dinner. Frederica and Thomas and Favlo were amazing as well… always with a smile on their faces. The pool staff made hanging by the pool a wonderful treat. And the views are to die for!!!

One of our favorite places we've ever stayed! The building and rooms within it were gorgeous, and the pool was amazing, overlooking the ocean. The staff was incredibly helpful and super friendly throughout our entire stay. Food at the restaurant within the hotel was also top notch. Truly couldn't recommend this place more for a stay just outside Amalfi!!

We have stayed here before as we think it is the perfect hotel for a central location along the coast at not too high of a price.It has ample parking a beautiful pool with cocktails and snacks served and an amazing ocean platform for swimming in the sea. We wish the beds were more comfortable but hard mattresses are common in Italy. Overall, we love this hotel.

The views are absolutely stunning! The staff made the hotel feel very “homey” and welcoming, and were very helpful when it came to planning day-trips, reserving taxis etc. The location of the hotel is a pretty perfect alternative to the noisy and somewhat touristy cities of Amalfi and Positano. When having spent a day in either of those, it was great to return to a quiet and cozy hotel like Hotel Belvedere. What a gem!

Unfortunately, the room was musty and the A/C (in one room the A/C only sometimes worked) made the smell better. The bed wasn't very comfortable and doesn't seem to have a mattress pad which would have helped. The furniture in the room and hotel lobby is old and could use a makeover. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service (for a reasonable fee) was great but ends at 4:30 PM. There's a nearby pizzeria and restaurant that offers a free shuttle if you dine there. The food at the pizzeria was delicious! We had a mixed experience at Hotel Belvedere. On a positive note, the hotel gave us a free upgrade to the family suite, which includes a very spacious patio. We spent most of our time on the patio since it has a spectacular view of the gorgeous coastline and Amalfi.

I appreciated Giovanni, the maitre d' at breakfast and dinner. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable as a solo traveler. We chatted and he gave me some local insights. The complimentary shuttle service to the center of Amalfi and pick up at the ferry was so valuable. Unfortunately the young man who drives the shuttle is not friendly and not informed. I mentioned I planned a trip back to Sorrento on the high speed ferry and he told me there was no such thing. Really, I purchased a ticket online: a half hour 'vs 2 hours on the outbound trip. It's not helpful when locals provide misinformation. There are plenty of other people in hospitality who were helpful and didn't have this guy's bad attitude. Clearly it appears he doesn't like his job. Hotel was a good value for the area and the food was good but not outstanding.
