"Loved staying in a home built in 1901, with the furnishings reflecting the era. Lorraine and Greg were great hosts and directed us to many sight worthy destinations. So nice to join other travelers around the delicious breakfast table."

"Had to ask for housekeeping to clean the room. The pool area was never monitored, as small kids vomited in the hot tub. As well the hot tub jets were out of service on 2 different occasions. Service at the restaurant was not the greatest. For the most part, my week went well, but this was a lot of issues for a 5 night stay."

"We really liked our stay here. Great location, straight way to and from airport. The room was very spacious, very clean and comfortable. It was nice to unload our luggage directly from our car parked by back entrance to our room. We would stay again without any hesitation. And the price is best you would find in NF! And nice people in reception too!"

"The hotel is new, clean, and provides convenient parking access. While some room amenities required maintenance during our stay, the staff addressed the issue promptly by providing replacements. However, the breakfast selection was limited and fell short of the standard typically expected from a Marriott-branded property. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay with responsive customer service."

"We had a wonderful stay for one night in the Quidi Vidi room. Then we came back at the end of our trip for four nights and stayed in Port Royal room, and this one was much bigger with bigger bathroom. Both rooms were on the first floor. The manor was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of yogurt, muffins, cereal, as well as eggs freshly made with toasts and bacon or sausage. Juice, coffee, tea and milk. "We were happy to stay in a Canadian owned hotel and that it was pretty well situated related to downtown and the waterfront. The check-in person was a little chilly so it wasn’t a great first impression. Our room was very clean and well appointed but there was substantial street noise from motorcycles constantly driving by; I can only hope that’s seasonal! The hotel is music themed in all of the public spaces so it’s fun to see all of the classic rock star posters and pictures from the Rolling...

"Liked: room size and layout; easy parking and access; closet layout. Clean Disliked: room fan/ac/ heat was impossibly loud making it difficult to sleep- hear the tv or even carry on a conversation. (Room 406) -1 for that issue. Desk staff were unhelpful and not typical of my previous NL experiences. Over a 4 night stay, we engaged at check in/out and 3 questions - they couldn’t care less and were of no help."
