"This hotel is located a bit outside of Blois in a rather commercial area, and thus had limited options for dining. We went in to town to do so and look at the Chateau. The room is your basic chain room. I would not hesitate to stay the night there again while traveling through, though it i not the place for multiple nights if you plan to stay in the room."

"Matelas ferme. Chambre sous les toits avec fenêtre assez petite limitant la possibilité d'aération de la chambre. Pas de volet, un simple rideau. Odeur de tabac froid dans la chambre un peu gênante. Un ventilateur était néanmoins mis à disposition. Petite baignoire bien pratique et fonctionnelle. Nécessaire de toilette fourni avec règles rappelées pour limiter la surconsommation. Une seule prise électrique fonctionnelle dans la chambre, un peu juste si l'on souhaite charger un téléphone et...

"We did not realise this hotel is a self check-in upon booking. This was not a problem though, and we were assisted by another guest who was familiar with the process. However, when we opted to pay for breakfast during the check-in process we were also charged for the accommodation again! This was confirmed when I enquired about it to a staff member who was on reception in the evening. This has reduced our travelling funds and is now a hassle to get refunded. "This is a clean, fairly modern, basic room. The room is quite small (apparently typical for this price range). My only complaint is the beds are too hard - someone apparently, incorrectly, believes that firmer is better for your back. Location and neighborhood is good, I would stay there again."

"If you like old, quaint and quirky then this is the place for you. The proximity to the Loire is unbeatable with beautiful views and walks along the riverside. The room we had (402) was huge but accessed by a very tight and steep staircase. An interesting style of furnishings but the bed was comfy with good linen. The bathroom was also spacious but some DIY to the fixings would help. The evening meal is served by restauranteurs who are not involved with the accommodation. The food was tasty...

"De passage une nuit dans la Tiny house au plus proche pour aller visiter le château de Chambord le lendemain matin. Cadre très agréable et calme avec vue sur la Loire. Propre mais dans un cadre rustique et en pleine campagne, il ne faut pas trop en demander. Les WC extérieurs privés sont un peu éloignés et la porte ne fermait pas. Accueil par le propriétaire très sympathique. Equipement assez complet, manque une cuvette pour un séjour plus long"
