"This is an old hotel, and it has been around for a while. Therefore, it was not new and modern; which is no problem for me. It was quiet, most of the time. There was some passing traffic occasionally and I train whistle on a couple of occasions, but, for me, reasonable. As for shopping: there is a grocery store, a gas station, a pizza parlor all within walking distance as well as an attractive swimming area nearby. I got a good nights sleep, which is why I stayed there."

"On an excursion to visit historic hotels - this one only 105 years old but recently remodeled with all the needed amenities. Good reasonable restaurant and service - limited menu but goof food."
