"I loved my stay at the Dune! I was in a corner room and it got great sunlight all day. It was just a few minutes from the beach, so I was able to walk out and watch the sunrise. There was also a market across the street that had delicious breakfast. I brought it back to my room to eat while enjoying the Keurig coffee in the room."

"It says parking is included but I had to pay for parking every day. Front desk couldn’t fix it, the people she called didn’t fix it. Missed a work meeting because of the whole ordeal. Just the night is $24."

"The parking situation is very unclear. There is a small sign far from the lot that warns of towing but nothing in the area where you park. No significant warnings in communications with host."

"Terrible, worst stay ever . It was such a hassle to get in no clear instructions… never again"

"Everything from the price, location, tranquility, and the host Allen was awesome. We would go back in a heartbeat. Montville is beautiful."

"Everything was great! We didn’t interact with our host but he left us notes with everything including WiFi, and where he left the key to our room. The room was cozy and perfect. However, the one downside to our stay was that there was no ac in the our room and it was very hot and humid the entire weekend. No fan or anything. It was a bit uncomfortable to sleep at night. If there was at least a fan in the room this would’ve been an excellent stay."

"This was not a hotel, it was just someone's exta bedroom. I checked out 10 minutes after checking in and got another hotel. It just did not feel safe. There was no private bathroom, and i dont think there is shower. "

"Well-organized furnished studio apartment in a newish apartment complex, a bit nicer than the rest of the neighborhood. One negative is that it's on the ground floor facing a moderately busy street (some noise) with pedestrians right outside, and no curtains, only horizontal blinds so it feels a bit exposed. Less than half a mile up the street is a nice brewpub, but grocery shops are further."

"Great place for families, not far from downtown Middletown! Big comfy beds and rooms. "

"Our stay was very good. Way better than staying at a hotel. Would definitely do it again."

"The space was very clean, the hostess was available, even late night when we needed the code for the gate! "

"The place has everything you need and want—a great host, very clean, and a feeling of a country cottage. I will go back whenever I visit that area for sure. DB"

"Great property with plenty of cozy and spacious accommodations!"

"It was a great weekend and the place we stayed was perfect"

"A gem situated in downtown Essex."
