"The place looks nice from the outside, but the inside was disappointing. The bathrooms were not clean, the beds were noisy and uncomfortable, and sounds from other rooms were very noticeable. There was also a strange odor, which was another drawback. Overall, the castle-like appearance and free parking were the only real advantages."

"The staff were great and looked after me very well. I have stayed at the Winselerhof many times over the years and always found the rooms to be quiet, pleasant and comfortable, the hotel itself is in nice woodland surroundings, however the wider area is industrial. My only criticism is the food. If you want really fancy high end fine dining then great, but if you want the option to have regular food in reasonable portions then you will probably want to eat somewhere else. They have 2 restaurants onsite and both are a little too fancy for their own good. Also, if you're vegetarian/vegan there is usually only 1 option."

"Nice bungalow with good outdoor spaces, but with a few issues - some strange lighting arrangements where you have to plug a cable in to turn on a light, and the bedrooms are tiny, with a very noisy/squeaky bunk bed in one of them Decent shower, and kitchen seems well equipped. We were not told that soap and toiletries are not provided, but the host was very communicative and helpful, and dropped some off for us anyway."
