"The hotel is a short walk to the train station and ferry terminals, surrounded by many restaurants and pubs in the old town. The room is basic, small but functional for short stays. The best thing is the friendly, helpful, cheerful staff and the buffet breakfast at EUR 15.50 was an excellent value. "

"It was quiet first night then outside of hotel was celebrations and firework,very loud.Also you can hear next door persons in their bathrooms,very thin walls .Nearest tram is 12 min on foot ,then change to metro 52 Noord to Amsterdam Central-15-20 minutes . No hand towels provided-must use bath towel and no towel rails for drying in bathroom Price was accordingly to service .I didn't use dining .There is Starbucks by metro station "

"Citizen M South was full of kind and pleasant staff, good breakfast, great coffee, great power shower with plenty of hot water, super comfortable bed and easy check in and out. It was also located within a walking distance to the trains, metro and busses. The rooms were well isolated and quiet."
