I didn’t really see the staff because I didn’t need to. But they were kind enough to call and message me right after I checked in and settled into my room. The lights confused me as it was my first time in Europe. Turns out you put your keycard in a slot by the door and then they work lol. But my bathroom wasn’t super clean…. There was just some dust.. in the bathtub. And a stain in the sink. I don’t know. But I’m not too picky. I didn’t complain because I was not gonna bath anyway. And it was gone after I showered. The bed was bigger than I thought and it was comfy. AND it’s very conveniently located to things. Right outside your door is a canal. Who can complain? I’d stay here again.

My stay at Leonardo Eden Hotel was unfortunately disappointing. The location is great — very convenient and easy to get around the city — but the overall experience didn’t meet expectations. The rooms didn’t feel thoroughly checked or properly maintained, and cleanliness was inconsistent. I repeatedly had to ask for cleaning, fresh towels, and sheets, which shouldn’t be necessary during a stay. It felt like attention to detail and guest care were lacking. I really wanted to love it because the location is so good, but overall I left feeling quite disappointed

The apartment space was well laid out and the view was amazing as it was on the third floor. There was a separate bedroom, the toilet and a small sink were close to the front door away from the main living space. The bathroom was not in the bedroom, but off the main living area. Plenty of towels were provided. We were informed that there would be no housekeeping service unless we requested something which was fine for us. Now to the not so good, the apartment was on the third floor, with no lift, the three flights of stairs became more narrow with turns at the bottom making it tricky to carry more than a single bag. There were bannister rails. The common areas are in need of a degree of maintenance - deep cleaning, decorating etc. inside the apartment there was no soap in the toilet which was a surprise as it was provided in the shower room. There were no hooks or towels rails in the toilet. In the shower room there was a single towel rail but some hooks would be useful to hang dry clothes or a second wet towel. In the kitchen area there was dish soap, but no plug for the sink, nor any cloths of any kind. We did not try the microwave or extractor fan or the hob. If you like anything other than expression coffee from the supplied machine, the cups are tiny. We borrowed some bigger ones from the bar in the main building. The beds were comfy and the linen clean. Despite the issues we had a great stay and the location was excellent,

Wir hatten als Familie das Appartement neben dem Haupthaus. Die Treppen nach oben sind nichts für Menschen mit körperlichen Problemen, sehr sehr steil! Brandschutztechnisch eine Katastrophe, denn wenn im EG Feuer ausbrechen sollte ist man in den Stockwerken darüber gefangen, es gibt keine Fluchtleitern oder ähnliches. Die Lage allerdings ist überragend! Alles zu Fuss erreichbar, auch sehr kurze Wege zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.

Great centrally located apartments attached to the main hotel, ours had a beautiful view of the Amstel - really polite and helpful reception staff on hand in the main hotel building. Easy transport links on the trams and trains and the hotel has a convenient luggage storage if you need it. *IMPORANT* Only key consideration for other guests considering the apartments in particular is the access... 3 flights of steep and narrow stairs, so not suitable for everyone and the hallway/landing was tired and in need of a refresh.

Steep outdoor steps to access, steep staircase to the apartment. internally, stairs to reach the bedroom and steps out to the terrace. bathroom has no door which we didnt like at all and theres no where to get ready. theres no plug sockets near the mirror i had to put hair straighteners in the bathroom and trail my extension lead across the floor which is dangerous near water. hairdryers fixed to the bathroom wall which was a nightmare. theres no storage in the bedroom only a tiny wardrobe no drawers or anything either, no desk etc.

Arrived at Eden Studio and Apartments. Was told apartment was up four flights of stairs. These stairs are super dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. They wouldn’t be legal in the UK. The actual apartment was very tired and dirty. Lighting was poor. Not how described on hotels.com site. Also site says “stairs”, not steep. We wouldn’t have booked if we had know how bad they were. I contacted hotels.com who even agreed they looked really dangerous and went back down to the hotel - explained we were very unhappy that we paid what we did for that. We were then given two twin rooms in the hotel and breakfast as we no longer had a kitchen. Did have to pay an additional fee though. Was a nice trip in the end. Can’t fault the hotel rooms and breakfast. Hotel was far superior to the apartment. You wouldn’t even know they are the same company. Wouldn’t recommend the apartment to anyone - should be taken off hotels.com website.

We had the family room (which is adjacent to the hotel) and it was perfect for our needs. Spacious, quiet and hosted the fact that the kids had the upper floor to themselves was great. Super fiendly staff and the location (and the views from the fourth floor) was amazing. Would recommend for a family vacation with older kids (the stairs are steep and narrow). Bike shop next door so it doesn’t get any easier to tour the city.

Loved the actual apartment and location was amazing but the 3 flights of stairs are an accident waiting to happen. We are an able bodied family but found the stairs terrifyingly steep. Getting our suitcase up and down was a nightmare.

Spacious apartment

Stayed in Eden hotel and apartments in spacious apartment with great canal view. Apartment was clean but baseboards were dusty, and carpet was dated. Stairs to apartment were narrow and what you would find in old canal house.

Séjour en famille

Très bonne expérience, très bon accueil, très bon emplacement à 20 minutes max à pied de tout point touristique. Appartement avec entrée indépendante et attenante à l'hôtel avec vue sur l'Amstel, quasi face à l'opéra, très spacieux, espace chambre, coin cuisine, table, grand séjour avec canapé lit double, climatisation réversible, salle de bains avec douche à l'italienne. Les 2 seuls bémol, la douche difficilement réglable (soit très très chaud, soit très froid) et les escaliers très raides pour rejoindre l'appartement au 2e étage.
