"We walked in to a room full of insects flying all over the place. We killed a few and noticed they were all full of blood. Then we noticed that stains on the pillows and sheets, nothing to use to cook in nor any utensils, cups, etc. We also noted that the property has lots of trucks and not enough parking for everyone living there. The air conditioner wasn't working well and it smelled like mildew. We decided to call it a loss and booked another hotel nearby for the night."

"This is an older motel, so take that into account along with you get what you pay for. The staff was nice and accommodating. We were selling our home and needed an inexpensive place to stay for a few days until closing. It wasn't nasty, just needs to be renovated but then the price would go up."

"We always enjoyed staying at the Tompkinsville Inn. We haven’t stayed in several years and we were very disappointed this time. The property has really gone downhill. The grass had not been mowed in some time. The pool was full of green water. There seemed to be no attempt at repairing or updating the property. And, they are charging $110 per night. We won’t be staying there, again."
