Top Coral Gables Hotel Reviews

Pullman Miami Airport
6/10 Okay
"The room itself was not what I expected.. things were broken or not in best condition and there’s no microwave in the rooms you have to go downstairs to use one. The hotel was really nice and the cafe in the lobby closes at the busiest times which is inconvenient. The pool was wonderful. And the bar/restaurant was wonderful"

Hotel St. Michel
8/10 Good
"Great location, near a lot of good restaurants.
The hotel is beautiful and well kept. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was very professional.
Only downside is parking: it's not provided. One has to pay the meter on the street or a parking building in front of the hotel."

Four Points by Sheraton Coral Gables
8/10 Good
"good location, nice staff, very comfortable room with nice amenities"

The Avenue Hotel Coral Gables
6/10 Okay
"There are hidden fees with the hotel that are not listed upfront, totaling quite a bit more than the original listing. $130 room cleaning fee, regardless of duration of stay (I stayed two nights total, one person only) and $40 per day resort fee. The room was nice and the location is very convenient. The bed, bedding and pillows are horrible. Truly, really bad."

Hotel Ponce de Leon

enVision Hotel Miami International Airport

"It was good. For a layover or a couple days is amazing. Is right next to the airport. And I felt safe"

Aloft Coral Gables

"Bartender was very attentive. We ordered doordash and ate in the lobby. He served drinks and brought us napkins and silverware. He was very nice!"

Sonesta Miami Airport

"I chose this hotel because we wanted to relax by the pool for the day after getting off the cruise ship that morning. The pool looked lovely in the pictures. When we arrived, we were told that the pool was closed for renovations. I wish we had been informed of this in advance as I would have changed my booking. The restaurants was also closed until dinner so we could not get a meal there until later afternoon. We ended up at the pool and restaurant at the hotel next door. This was not ideal as we were travelling with our 87 year old mother. Other than that, the hotel is very clean, and well-located."

THesis Hotel Miami Coral Gables, Curio Collection by Hilton
4/10 Poor
"We booked two rooms—one with two queens and one with a king. Upon arrival, the king room was apparently more of a suggestion than a guarantee, so we ended up with two rooms with two queen beds.
We got there a bit early and decided to have lunch at the Collab. It’s a great-looking restaurant, and the food was good once it arrived, but the wait was long enough that we could’ve left, found another restaurant, eaten, and still beaten our original order back to the table. There was a private party going on, and it was pretty clear the staff was overwhelmed. They were very nice about it and comped the meal, which was appreciated, but not exactly the warm welcome you hope for.
Once we got to the rooms, things didn’t improve much. The bathtub was dirty and appeared to be filled with pubic hair, which is not a detail anyone wants to confirm in person. The towel also had a stain that I made a conscious decision not to investigate. The overnight parking situation also deserves a mention. You can only park on one side of the garage on the third floor, and finding the entrance felt like a scavenger hunt with no clues. It drove my husband absolutely insane. Lastly, the pool situation is a bit misleading. The photos make it look like there are two pools, but the larger one is actually for the residences next door and not available to hotel guests. So technically there are two pools—you just can’t use the better one."
