"Hotel Narcissus was great. Room 6 was fantastic. Two floors, big bed, full kitchen. Check in and check out were smooth. It is in quite a sketchy location though. Be aware! I don't recommend walking to the nicer part of town from the hotel... Get a Uber!"

"This hotel is in the heart of the gas lamp district and makes it very easy to walk throughout the city to lots of restaurants, shops and amenities. The staff was extremely personable and helpful and always made a point to ask how things were and how I was enjoying my conference. This was a perfect location and style of hotel for my constant in and out to conference activities and social events."

"Great place! Stayed because of a concert at PETCO. Did have a cleaning just walk into my room at 0800 without knocking. She said it was because I didn’t have a “DND” on the handle. I was kinda angry. Otherwise, no issues."

"The first day they have an event in the area of the pool, a private event. And even they offer you to go to a pool of the nearest hotel, I don’t think is the best way to all the guests. The next day the pool was dirty with hairs and like a black dust. I think this hotel is overhyped."

"The staff were friendly. The room had a weird musky smell to it. The pillows and the bed were absolutely horrible. Woke up with back pain, arm, pain, and neck pain. No parking only valet which is $70. You can park at the parking garages that are also separate fees."

"The room was tiny and had very little storage space. The view was of a brick wall 7 feet away and the little window air conditioner was very loud, making it difficult to sleep soundly."

"We stayed here while attending a show at Petco Park, and the location couldn't have been more convenient. We arrived around 1:00 PM on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised to be checked into our room by 2:30 PM. The room was great, and the views were absolutely amazing! We would definitely stay here again for future events in downtown San Diego."
