This is an amazing property! The pictures donā€™t do it justice. Iā€™ve never stayed at such a beautiful, historic location. Itā€™s set away from the crowds of tourists for a truly peaceful and special experience. It is a close drive to many things to do and places to eat, but coming back at the end of the day is the best part.

Positive aspects: - - location is great. It is in the countryside, but within easy reach of the beaches and the rest of the island. - Pool kept in good condition and appreciated. - rooms have kitchenette. Small, but adequate for light meals. Negative aspects - WIFI. The property advertises the rooms including wifi (Expedia and hotel website), but this is not the case -the rooms do not have wifi. The only available wifi is in the reception building. - Cleanliness is not the best. The dishes and cutlery were not properly cleaned between guests (a particular concern given the presence of covid) Under the childrenā€™s beds in the loft was a quantity of dust that indicated it had not been swept in considerable time. - The breakfast is basic. We were the only family having breakfast in the hotel which meant the turnover of the ā€˜buffetā€™ items was limited. By the fourth day the yogurt was out of date and the bread was stale. The coffee was cold every day. We decided to renounce our breakfast for the last part of the holiday. - The air-conditioning was not effective for the loft space which was typically too hot. This will depend on the configuration of the room you have. - The ā€˜satelliteā€™ TV in our rooms received only a few Greek channels clearly, the rest were garbled.

GrundsƤtzlich eine tolle Anlage zur Enspannung auf dem Land. Schƶner Pool, tolle und gerƤumige Duschen, freundliches Personal. FĆ¼r die Vorsaison leider sehr kalt. Die Heizung war ausgestellt, die Fernbedienung der Klimaanlage (zum minimalen heizen) wurde uns erst auf dringliche Nachfrage ausgehƤndigt. Nur Leider wird an der Ausstattung gesparrt, Lampen nicht funktionierten und in frisch gestrichenen Raum-Ecken sogar Schimmel an den WƤnden war. Im KĆ¼hlschrank lag ein vƶllig durchnƤsstes Handtuch, durch die Fenster kam kaum Licht rein. Auf Nachfrage konnten wir das Studio nach zwei Tagen unkompliziert tauschen. Hier tropfte der Wasserhahn die ganze Nacht ins SpĆ¼lbecken, und der undichte Duschschlauch war eine unschƶne Ɯberraschung. Verrosteter MĆ¼lleinmer im Bad und ein KĆ¼hlschrank an dem der Rost mit Farbe notdĆ¼rftig Ć¼berstrichen wurde. Das am Pool versprochene W-LAN funktionierte auch nicht. Wir hatten schnell das GefĆ¼hl das Hotelmanagement zu "belasten" und aufgegeben die weiteren MƤngel zu melden. Wir haben es hingenommen und sind damit fĆ¼r uns ganz gut gefahren.

Wunderbare Lage, aber das warĀ“s dann auch schon...

Vorneweg: die Lage dieses Hotels ist einzigartig, und wer absolute Ruhe sucht, ist hier goldrichtig. Auch der Pool ist neu und in allerbestem Zustand. FĆ¼r die Zimmer gilt dies leider nicht. Geschƶnte Fotos tƤuschen hier darĆ¼ber hinweg, dass die Ausstattung der RƤume doch eher sehr einfach ist und die Einrichtung auch keinerlei Komfort bietet. Der Gastgeber ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber das rechtfertigt nicht den hohen Preis fĆ¼r die Unterkunft. Es gibt weder Suiten, noch haben wir das gebuchte 75 qm groƟe Familienzimmer erhalten, obwohl dafĆ¼r teuer bezahlt.Die Kitchenette ist renovierungsbedĆ¼rftig und lƤsst Selbstversorgung eigentlich nicht zu. (Keine Mikrowelle, marginal ausgestattet mit Geschirr, Plastik). Auch sas sehr bescheidene FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck auf winzigen HolzstĆ¼hlchen in einem verstaubten muffigen Privatmuseum ist wenig anheimelnd, und trotz der perfekten und ruhigen Lage gibt es keine Sitz-Gelegenheiten, um in einer winzigen PrivatsphƤre den Sonnenuntergang zu genieƟen. Die genannten Austattungsmerkmale sind nur bedingt vorhanden: Wifi funktioniert nur am Pool vernĆ¼nftig, bei nƤchtlichen 25 Grad war die Klimaanlage funktionsuntĆ¼chtig gemacht und die Comfort-Matratzen werden auf Beton und Stein gelegt, so dass an Schlaf nicht zu denken ist. Internet per Kabel wurde nicht bereit gehalten. Die tƤgliche Zimmerreinigung erfolgt, aber HandtĆ¼cher werden nur zweimal die Woche gewechselt und dann erhƤlt man auch nicht verfleckte Exemplare. Alles in allem ein schlechter Witz

Super nice

The hotel is located on the top of a hill with scenic view. The hotel got a nice pool which is empty most of the time. All rooms got their own sitting area outside.

Great accommodation in a beautiful location

Fundana Villas was exactly what we wwre looking for. Somewhere peaceful to relax and with a nice pool for the children to have fun. We also found the location ideal for exploring Corfu.

Een fantastisch gelegen villa ver van alle hectiek. Geweldig panorama van het groene Corfu. Spiros en zijn zonen staan altijd voor je klaar en spreken goed engels. Er wordt op verzoek voor de gasten gekookt. Lekkere griekse gerechten zonder veel poespas. Wij waren vroeg in april en het weer was niet goed. Daardoor was men ook niet in staat gewest het zwembad op orde te krijgen. Wij hadden kamer 8 en die was pas kortgeleden volledig opgeknapt. Evenals kamer 9 en 10. Andere kamers waren nog niet zover en leken een stuk eenvoudiger, wat niet wil zeggen dat ze per sƩ slecht zijn. Je moet wel een auto of ander voertuig hebben want de afstanden zijn flink. Paleokastritsa is vlakbij. Dat viel ons een beetje tegen. De andere dorpen in de buurt zijn veel leuker. Kortom: We hebben er goede herinneringen aan.
