Nasty!!! Pool was nasty! Building are falling apart and saw a crack deal going down when we pulled up! Nothing like the pictures online. Couldn’t get out of the parking lot fast enough!!!

Booked my room ahead time, just to show up and then tell me they were all booked up for the day and had to contact the agency where I booked the room to get a refund. Horrible communication!! I will never book there again!!

I booked a room and when I went to check in the said they are oversold and couldn’t honor my reservation. I had to drive home and 11pm at night with 2 small kids in the care.

Very nice and quiet place. Staff was wonderful! I will stay here again. Very convenient to the beach, restaurants and grocery store!!!!

The room was clean and had a larger dorm frig , and had a newer a/c system that worked very well, and the bed was comfortable. But the wifi was out and I had to unplug the TV because none of the remotes for it would turn it off. The gulls were enjoying the pool.

Do not rent a room here. It will not meet anyone’s expectations. Pictures show to rent on website do not look like property in person. Very run down property, dirty floors, fridge was very dirty on the outside, counter tops was sticky, door was filthy, ac unit was not properly installed, lamp shades very dusty, old table and chairs inside the room very unstable, bathroom door did not shut, bed frame was bent, room smelled muggy. Pool area looked not up to date. Gate around pool was old looking and very rusted. Do not wast your time at this property. We stayed only one night, 09-07-26, only because I was already charged for one night.

Don’t book here the pictures on the Expedia website are deceiving and not true it is not nice nor clean. They gave us bloody towels there was food on the bed and mold everywhere. It looks like a place where illegal situations happen this hotel nasty ghetto the worst I have ever seen in my life.

We have stayed several times here .it wasn't the Taj Mahal but clean and acceptable. It was absolutely horrific! ( staff nice and they accommodating) our 1st room air was out and floor wet .( 2 beds in room) they switched us to a I beleive was a Special guest room it was 100% better .cleaner that than 1 st room but not saying too much ..1st room was scary a cave for a shower one I'd never. I say Never step foot in with shoes! The 2nd room.. nice shower nice tiles but dirty .pool absolutely disgusting. I cannot believe that expedia woukdceven want this on their website!• or hotels .com . OYO should be ashamed..the photos show how bad pool and area was and a chickenbone on the step., how dirty floor was ..used to be ice machine had to wait 30 min to check in no one there to check in ! Seriously they need to shut this hotel down .someone is gonna get hurt or dye from mold or disease.

When I first arrived, I was disoriented about where to go. After checking in with the very helpful staff, I got to my room. Unfortunately, the two key cards that were just assigned weren’t programmed. After they were, I was pleasantly surprised how spacious it was. Similar to a studio apartment. Full kitchen, good bathroom, the works. What didn’t please me was not only the door not properly installed, the deadbolt wasn’t able to be utilized, and there was no secondary lock. Once I left and came back from exploring Rockport, my key cards once again didn’t work. The on site employee was very quick to assist, but still a nuisance I didn’t want to happen at 1:30 in the morning. Overall, decent spot for the price - heart of Rockport, good staff, but need desperate security and technological upgrades.

Absolutely disgusting – filthy room, bugs, and unacceptable conditions. Review: We are extremely disappointed and disgusted with our stay at the OYO in Rockport. From the moment we arrived, the experience was bad. The person who checked us in acted strange, couldn’t answer basic questions about air conditioning, and told us to ‘just go look’ but also said we couldn’t switch rooms. Why would we inspect a room if changing isn’t an option? We were also told to ‘wiggle the door handle’ because it doesn’t open properly. The door itself was filthy. Inside, things were even worse. The curtains were dirty. The bed had bugs, including what looked like bed bugs and other crawling red bugs. We woke up with bug bites all over us. The pillows had shoe prints on them. The bathroom was dirty and had roaches and flies. We couldn’t even figure out where the flies were coming from. This was not a place anyone should stay. We arrived around 9.30 p.m. and left by 7.30 a.m. because we simply could not stay another minute. This hotel is unsanitary, unsafe, and a complete This place should not be renting rooms in this condition. Cleanliness and basic safety are not luxuries, they’re bare minimum expectations. Instead, we spent the night uncomfortable, woke up with bites, and left as soon as we could. We believe a full refund is absolutely warranted. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. One star, only because zero isn’t an option.
