"For a five star hotel it was disappointing. First the positives… the pool, and pool area was wonderful and spacious. The buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of choices. That’s where it ends. The check-in was terrible. The clerk didn’t even smile or offer us a welcome drink as other guests were given. Despite it being a VIP Expedia hotel we were not offered an upgrade. "The room was decorated beautifully. It was one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed at.
Very comfortable bed and pillows.
It had great full length mirrors if you wanted to do an outfit check before going out. There was a rooftop pool with a bar with music, it had a nice vibe. Wish I stayed more than one night. This hotel was close to the airport which is the reason why I chose it as I had a morning flight and I was staying on the other island of Gozo prior to this.
I would definitely stay...

"Nice hotel, well located off the main area in Valletta. Reception and rooftop pool staff very friendly.
Room was nice, clean and large with good aircon, although it looked onto an internal courtyard so wasn’t very private and we had to have the curtains closed a lot of the time.
Rooftop pool was very welcome in the extreme heat!"
