The only drawback was the evenings were very chilly so I couldn't sit outside in the garden to watch the sunsets. That's no fault of our hostess."

"We have stayed here before and received the usual warm welcome from the owner. The location is to the east of Carrick town, on a side road set back from the M4. The accommodation is quiet though. Bedrooms are cosy and homely.. A good breakfast in the dining room is ensured. Plenty of safe parking space."

Parking would normally be good but on the Saturday night, the local GAA team were playing and the car park and surrounding streets were rammed. Only disappointment was the check in as no-one from the property was there. We had to phone up the international ( for us) number causing extra expense. It might help future visitors if the...
