Unfortunately we hit rush hour traffic as we approached. inching through the busy Salt Hill city center. We arrived during a rare heat wave. Like most accommodations in Ireland, there were was no AC or fans and no television. There was not a tea kettle in the room, but the house offered use of a large communal kitchen where some guests apparently cooked dinner (based on cleaned dishes drying...

"This was not a good experience. The paid parking was not available as there are hardly any spots. The room was very small and extremely hot to sleep in. Also very noisy, we were woken up multiple times from people in the hallway closing their doors. The way the door is design it slams shut."

"The stay was comfortable and the gardens lovely. The drinks and barstaff great, reception great and friendly with advice on sight seeing. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a broken window pane and the furnishings were dated. Bed comfortable. The food was disappointing. I had a seafood chowder which was pretty good and the fish tasted fresh. the main was a steak that looked pale and was not cooked with lots of fat and gristle, the vegetables were overcooked. The desert tasted OK but...

"The breakfast is unbelievable. It is chefs kiss good! There were wonderful touches throughout the property, especially a direct line to taxis. It’s a 12€ ride to the city centre. The staff were kind and helpful and the owners were lovely. Thank you!"

"What a cute little place! Beautiful hot shower after a day trekking the countryside and comfy bed. Many options in town for dinner and packed with locals. Very cute cows across the road and gorgeous views from the window. "

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
