"The staff is incredible!! I recommend this lodge if you want to stay in nature. The tour guides are very good and all the staff at the lodge are really helpful and friendly. "
"A wonderful indigenous host farm family makes you feel welcome in their home. Guests have their own separate quarters and bath. The farm is small but busy and productive, with cows, food crops, pigs, chickens, guinea pigs, dogs, cats, fruit trees and veggies. The views from above Cotacachi are phenomenal. Volcan Imbabura is on one side of the farm and Volcan Cotacachi on the other."
"Beautiful grounds, but no restaurant or real hospitality
The grounds are well kept and the pool is beautiful with lush vegetation around it, about 1.2 hours from Quito. That's where the positives end.
There is no functioning restaurant despite what's advertised — we were directed to a roadside eatery up the street with questionable sanitation. "Included" breakfast required scheduling an appointment and lady was not there a worker came out and told us to waited to brew coffee; we skipped it...
