I told him about the toilet seat being loose and he sent the maintenance man to fix it right away. The room was very clean and smelled really good. "

"This was a very affordable and comfortable stay. Had a mini fridge and a microwave but No frills or extras. Just the necessities which was fine by me and my husband. We stayed because it was just a few miles from a Music Festival we attended. It also had a small desk and a chair. We got the king room. I only wish that it had at least one other chair so we both could have sat in a chair to eat instead of on the floor or bed but that wasn't a huge deal. The staff let us know that we have to ask...

"At one point, Rainbow Motel.may have been down, but the new owners are worki g to turn the experience around. What you get: a clean room with TV and a comfortable bed and shower. But, youre also RIGHT across from arguably one of the BEST bakeries in the country (Weber's Bakery -fresh morning sonuts and pastries), around the corner from Chicago's most popular beef sandwich (Portillo's), within a 2 minute walk of several other restaurants as well as an Aldi, Walgreens and Ace Hardware. BUT......
