"Owner is amazing providing the history of the home meeting us at the door to take our luggage. Breakfast was great, rooms are age appropriate in the era, several outdoor areas for relaxing , communal area with a tv, but frankly unplugging was absolutely awesome. Will 100% be back, we stayed before a cruise and had a 25 minute drive down us1 which was lovely. Give it a try"

"We couldnt stay at the hotel. After each use they cleaning staff sparys something into the room, my wife has a strong nose, we checked out 2 rooms, and she could not stay there because of the smell. They credited the room because we couldnt stay which was nice of them."

"If you want an affordable boutique getaway I highly recommend this. Location was walkable to shops and the beach. Bed was comfortable, room temp was cool. Our room had water view. Restaurant was waterfront with 20% off with stay. Food was great. Rooms were adorable. It’s an antique vibe. Free parking and breakfast were big plus. Disappointed that The Spa pool and waterfall were not available to hotel guests without spa service."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Salty Mermaid very much. The room was clean and comfortable and Lisa and staff were so helpful with anything we asked. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quaint place right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. It’s at the top of our list for a getaway to the beach."

"The room was supposed to be ocean view but what we got was more like a parking lot view, I complained to the staff and they said they would look into it but no one got back. The room itself was dirty. Wouldn’t stay here again"
