"The location is situated within very easy reach to and from the port. It's easy to find and there is a car park. Staff speak some English for those who struggle with French. Breakfast is excellent and theyceven offer gluten free bread. The rooms are clean and there is tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Sweets too...a nice touch."

"I arrived after hours so never corresponded with any humans but to do it automatically was painless and easy. The room was clean and comfortable! Could have done with a coffee and tea selection in the room! Although there is one in reception. But for 95 euros it should be provided? Ive paid less at other establishments and had those benefits. There is a burger restaurant next door that gives you discount for being a hotel guest and there is plenty of parking. "

"The staff were lovely and helpful. They accommodated our two push bikes in the secure garage. The room was lovely with a great view over the beach and lawns. Breakfast was great. Highly recommended."

"A nice room with welcome air conditioning and a comfortable bed, but overall the experience was disappointing given the expectations of the price point and Mercure brand: only paper cups provided in lieu of glasses; dreadful coffee in the room with only powdered milk that was well past its due date; and paying extra for a sea view is not worth the money as all one can see is a derelict outdoor swimming pool. Bike parking was fine."

"Cycling London to Paris. This was our first stop. No bike storage, but chained to railings in full sight of 24hr reception. Hotel was very nice, and looking at staying here again. Food was delicious, including evening buffet. Staff were very helpful, including escorting us to see the chef to discuss vegetarian buffet options (and help with language barrier). Unfortunately, we did not have a long enough stay to enjoy the hotel's facilities (pool, spa, golf, grounds, etc), but would look at...
