Stunning B&B in Crieff.

Chose this hotel as a one night stopover on our way up to our next destination and it was so lovely we wished we were staying another night. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming and breakfast was excellent. Our room was beautiful and we peeked into other vacant rooms which had their doors open and they were equally good. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Awesome B&B in Crieff

We went based on a friend’s recommendation and were completely bowled over by the charm of hosts Paul and Helen as well as the comfort and charm of our room. The breakfast was amazing, too. Highly recommend.

Superb Merlindale

Absolutely fabulous, superbly decorated and furnished, extremely comfortable bed. Probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a B&B or hotel. Wonderful friendly service from Paul and Helen. Cannot recommend this venue high enough, we will definitely be back.

Stunning B&B with excellent service

The hosts made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. The B&B is beautiful and every care was taken to ensure I had a lovely stay. The room and bathroom was immaculate and the service second to none. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

5 Star quality

Probably the best B and B we have ever stayed in. 5 star quality with regards to everything. The property is beautiful and very comfortable. Everything is very high quality. Owners , Helen and Paul made us very welcome. Breakfast was great. Would have liked to have stayed longer. Very recommended.

What a lovely place. fantastic service and what a beautiful room i had. i even had a free dram of malt whisky in my room. the presentation and quality of my breakfast was outstanding. 6 out of 5 stars for sure.

Melindale's is a wonderfully relaxing B&B with an amazing host family that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. The Bluebell room with private ensuite is highly recommended as it is comfortable, spacious, and has all the comforts of home, including TV and Netflix. I would recommend Merlindale's to anyone traveling through or to Crieff. A must stay!

Very clean and immaculate facilities, fantastic and helpful hosts, great breakfast..... ticked all the boxes. Next time I will pick a diffrent room due to toilet preference, which i didnt know prior to booking - thistle room toilet isnt an ensuite or within the same room, its across the hallway and a key is required for both rooms (not great for a 2am toilet dash 😀) i only mention this as its not everyone cup of tea, i was constantly worrying i would meet someone in the hallway, had to keep getting dressed 😀

It takes a lot for me to give a place a 5 as always think there is room for improvement. This place we found faultless. Clean fresh beautifully decorated with friendly hosts who gave us a warm welcome and explained all the parts of our stay. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was truly amazing. Full Scottish, home made granola and yoghurt. Service was excellent. Couldn't have asked for anything more. We spoke to our hosts who took time to engage and chat with us. The house is an easy walk to the town centre and easy to find by car. I highly recommend this B&B if you're in Crieff or exploring the local area. Thank you Paul and Helen for a lovely stay and all the effort you put into those little personal touches like the wee dram of whiskey and home made shortbread. It makes all the difference.

Beautiful Hotel and Great Hosts

The Merlindale experience starts when you arrive and meet the host Paul. He is very welcoming and cheerful. Paul explained the layout of the hotel and then showed us to our room. The room (ours was the Orchid room) was very tastefully decorated and the bathroom was large and very modern. All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean and warm throughout. The breakfast is excellent with lots of homemade cereal and yoghurt as well as the traditional breakfast items all of a high standard and expertly cooked by Helen, Paul’s wife. The hotel is situated just 5 minutes walk from the high street which has shops, restaurants, cafés and some bars. Paul was very helpful throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble for him. As we had an afternoon pick up to take us to Edinburgh, Paul allowed us to leave our cases and do some more exploring around town. Thank you Paul and Helen for a great stay in your beautiful hotel.
