"We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

"What a find this place was. We needed somewhere to stay and shelter from Storm Dave rather than risk the campervan. We were lucky enough to find the family room at the String of Horses. "Recently refurbished, rooms were clean and fresh and kept the original features of the property. Bathroom was lovely and bath a great size although did miss the option of grabbing a quick shower. Bathroom needs a blind or curtain please otherwise stunning room."
