"Friendly staff and good room for people with mobility issues. The cooked breakfast was really good. I was disappointed to hear that they’re stopping food in the hotel as the food was good and it will only be continental breakfast although the pastries were lovely but when you go away a cooked breakfast is always good the next morning."

"Stayed here for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The executive room was lovely and had a river view. The only downside of that was when the spa opened you could hear voices outside, especially when the spa opens early in the morning. The shower was great and bed really comfy. Breakfast in the hotel was good. They do continental help yourself and order the hot food and tea/coffee. "We have stayed here a couple of times now and love it here. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean with some of my favourite toiletries in the bathroom and Tunnock biscuits for a snack. Breakfast is hot and tasty with cereals and a varied choice for breakfast from a full Scottish fry up to pastries, French toast and porridge to name a few. "The hotel, location, staff, facilities and services were all first class for our two night stay, as should be expected at a five star. Our room in the Auld Hoose, was exceptional, with complimentary mini bar and snacks, full satellite TV, roll top bath and beautiful furnishings. "Plenty of parking at front of hotel. Really helpful staff especially Jepson who sorted a ground floor room for me. Nice spacious clean comfortable room. Breakfast is 7-10 am so plenty of time to get served . Lovely evening meal and quite reasonably priced for a nice hotel. I asked for chips instead of rice but was later advised rice was an integral part of the dish.
