"This is an older, historical property and that means there are limits to how many modern amenities and features can be crammed in to it. Within that context, this is a comfortable hotel in the middle of a cute (and also historically relevant) town and we enjoyed our stay."

"Pleasant property room was clean but missed on the furniture. Big empty spot that could have held a comfortable chair. Requested a king but got 2 queens which threw off the sleeping/nightstand use. Hot tub was very nice. Breakfast food was good (especially the biscuits) and staff did great job keeping it well stocked and the area very clean. Staff were all friendly. Bathroom soap, lotion, shampoo/conditioner were really nice… big bottles, not the personal size. Ordered some for home...

"The room was great (except a unique closet/storage setup). It’s great to be right on a beautiful park! The hvac was pretty loud but effective. Otherwise good sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of restaurants a short walk away. Great for pets."

"This is a no frills hotel. With that in mind, the kitchenette was wonderful, with a full size refrigerator and great ice maker. However, there is not a table with chairs to eat on. There is a chair at the desk which allows one person to eat comfortably. The bathroom is a nice size with shelves to keep your bathroom items on. "Only stayed the day/night before an early flight and the room and property were super clean and away from Portland which is what we preferred."

"My room was clean; however it was old and run down, moisture ants appeared in my bathroom so I needed to switch rooms. In my first room, the TV did not work, the carpet was horribly stained, the tub needed to be replaced, the lampshade was stained, the mattress was lumpy, the furniture was all chipped, and the furnace and road noises were loud. "I would like to be less critical; however, this was overall an extremely bad experience, and for paying $100 a night, that’s unacceptable. The sheets had stains on them, the pillows were flimsy and nonexistent, so that you had to double them over just to be like a normal pillow. On top of that, you only got two pillows per queen bed.
