"I usually stay here when I’m Edmonton and have had no issues however this was my worst visit so far. My experience with the hotel receptionist was far from pleasant. She was not friendly, maybe she was having a bad day. There was maintenance and several repairs going on so the pool and dinning areas were cordoned off. The breakfast was terrible bacon burnt, scrambled eggs very dry and hash browns were hard and inedible. I really hope they improve things."

"The room was decent but that’s where it ends. Staff were rude and not very helpful. When I asked for them to repeat themselves because I didn’t hear them they were very rude and talked down to me. The parking is ridiculous. $45 a night for a crappy parking lot full of potholes and puddles that don’t drain properly. The bar staff in the restaurant were amazing super helpful. The older gentleman was very kind and helpful when I could open my bottle of wine and also gave me a nicer glass to drink...

"The Good: The price is reasonable, the place is kept very clean, they appear to be undergoing renovations (which I'll touch on later) so hopefully when you read this review the place will be even more solid and it's good to see it happening. The flooring and bathrooms also look like they've been recently redone and that staff are friendly and helpful. The Bad: The site is in a pretty car dependent area which you may not realize at first. "Definitely a great hotel to stay at. There was some confusion on our check-in about the breakfast being included in our stay, but we were able to iron that out. Otherwise, all the staff was so friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a room that had been newly renovated, was very nice but the only item that seemed missed was the light fixtures in the bathroom."
