"This resort is about 15 minute drive from the historic district of Matera. I had stayed in the center of town in the other cities we visited in Puglia. I liked the quietness of this location. The room was elegantly furnished with high arching ceiling. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was great. "

"Was unable to partake in breakfast. Most of the staff was very nice and helpful except the man (or shuttle driver) when we arrived that nite. I don’t appreciate being yelled at by staff at a hotel I paid for. Was not very understanding and rude."

"A gorgeous view of the Sassi and Matera. We were a quick walk from sites and food, plus had easy free parking close by. The staff were very friendly and the room was gorgeous. Be ready to get your stair-master on. There was an inside direct road into Matera Saadi center, but we preferred to wander the old part with gorgeous views over the valley. So up and down we went. "
