QUAINT HOTEL; PARKING NOT SO GOOD.

Hotel La Plaza is an interesting hotel because if its decor. The receptionist was delightful and had taken heed of my email prior to arrival as to choice of room. Parking on the road is not so bad at weekends as the health centre opposite the hotel is closed, but during working hours (8 am to 9 pm) you are not allowed to park. The risk is that your car will be towed away and you will be fined, so pay careful attention to the notices.

Their availability for service (check-in, check-out, etc.) is not always strictly on the schedule they say it is. The location for the price is okay, near busses, but depending on where you want to go in the historic area, it is 20 to 30 minutes walking (12 minutes by bus) -- uphill to Plaza Mayor, downhill coming back, not as convenient as some other similarly priced hotels.

Registro con incidencias

Al llegar nos dijeron que no teníamos reserva con Hotels.com sino con Expedia y que la reserva eran dos habitaciones individuales. Les enseñé mi reserva con Hotels.com y los detalles donde ponia 2 habitaciones con dos personas cada una y nos dijeron que gracias a q este fin de semana no habia problemas y podian darnos las habitaciones dobles que sino no hubiera sido posible. También nos dijeron que el precio no se correspondia con el de la reserva. Al final nos cobraron el precio de la reserva y nos dieron dos habitaciones dobles pero no sabemos porque esa confusión. Segun ellos no trabajan con Hotels.com.

La recepción fue excelente de 18 países visitados y no se cuantas ciudades es el mejor recibimiento y atención para que conociera los sitios más importantes de la provincia de Cuenca y es tanto que volveré porque me faltó tiempo. Gracias, gracias y gracias esperando volver pronto.

El hotel estaba muy bien, a 20 minutos del centro caminando, hay restautantes cerca que se desayuna, se come y se cena a buen precio y con menús diarios. La recepcionista, Flora, muy amable, te explica que visitar y donde puedes tomar algo.

Perfecto para una escapada

Si buscas algo para dormir e irte a hacer turismo es perfecto. La habitación no es muy grande pero tiene lo necesario para estar a gusto: una cama cómoda, máquina de aire caliente o frío, televisión y un baño privado con una ducha que funciona a la perfección. Además no está muy lejos del casco antiguo, a unos 20 minutos andando. Aún que lo mejor de este hotel, sin duda, son las personas que lo llevan que están encantados de resolverte todas las dudas que tengas y de aconsejarte los mejores sitios para visitar y comer.

Exceptionally helpful staff, large quirky bedrooms, comfy bed, super clean, within easy 20min walk of old town. 2in1 gel/shampoo provided. Cafe next door. On street parking not difficult to find. Would book here again.

Wonderful art hotel with African experience.

Wonderful African art hotel. Convenient for bus to/from Madrid and also for walking to the old town. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Although the rooms are not sound proofed this did not prove to be a problem. The bathroom had a wonderful granite sink. I would definitely stay here again. Also convenient for a gourmet restaurant called Raff. I was here for only 1 night which I would say was not really not enough so I am definitely keen to return.

Agua de la ducha fria

Exceso de decoración en madera que produce un olor no muy agradable. El hotel está en una sola planta. Como te toque una habitación de las últimas y esté el hotel lleno, no te llega el agua caliente a la ducha

Muy buen hotel, lo recomiendo

La habitación que nos tocó era muy bonita, fuimos solo para una noche y la verdad es que nos gustó bastante. El problema principal es que estaba bastante encajonada y el edificio de al lado nos tapaba toda la luz del sol, así que era fría y un poco oscura. Por la noche, cuando estabas en silencio, se podía escuchar a los otros huéspedes caminando hacia sus habitaciones. A pesar de que está bastante nuevo, esta un poco lejos del casco antigüo, así que si lo que quieres es caminar, esta muy bien, pero sino, es mejor que cojas el coche. La dueña, Flora, fue muy amable desde que entramos hasta que nos fuimos. Nos informó de visitas que podíamos hacer con otros huéspedes del hotel, o si queríamos ir solos, también nos dijo sitios interesantes donde ir. Para desayunar nos dijo que fuéramos á una cafetería cercana y nos dio unos vales descuento. En general estuvo muy bien, y desde luego que repetiremos.
