"Le lit est très bien, mais la salle de bain ouverte permet l'entrée de beaucoup d'insectes : arraignées, gecko, moustiques... Nous avons été reveillés par les coqs, les prières en dehors de tout cela. Le fait de ne pas pouvoir fumer sur le balcon et de devoir sortir de l'hotel n'est pas pratique pour les fumeurs réguliers."

"I love this resort. It’s so beautiful. My room was fantastic, clean and perfect position to the pools and restaurants.
I stayed 7 years ago and was happy to be back.
There is construction of the beach area at the moment so the noise and fumes were not the best, but it stopped around 5pm. The resort was kind enough to have a free shuttle service to Virgin Beach which was beautiful. Staff were very apologetic. It’s not the resort’s fault.
Food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was amazing.
Love the staff. Thank you everyone. "
"The Griya is a fantastic location and a view to die for with friendly staff and clean accommodation.
Room layout 2 bedrooms being separate was private.
Only thing our friends were originally in room 4 until I said this was arranged 9 months prior and they moved our friends which was great. Rooms 6 and 7 had interconnected door which enabled our friends to share facilities. Great for the kids and adults too.
The staff were all very friendly and accomodating from booking early to kitchen, bar staff and cleaners.
The private infinity pool in our villa was outstanding.
The kitchen fully equipped with all utensils if you needed to cook but we did not as the restaurant was great.
The rooftop bar loved it as it was our happy place.
Not far from diving spots which were world class. (Definitely recommend fresh fins)

"First let me say the views were excellent! The staff was kind and friendly but…there’s only so much they can do with a hotel that is in terrible shape. After reading recent poor reviews I requested in advance that my room, bedding and towels be in good condition and they were although the bedspread was in need of replacing. The way the shower and toilet area was constructed was awful! First of all it was not separate from the sleeping area. Most importantly, when one showered the water from the shower seeped into the toilet area and stayed in the corners and created a very wet environment. There was no comfortable chair in the room, the seating on the balcony was very worn. I could go on and on but basically the hotel is a construction nightmare and it has not been repaired/maintained. We left one night early as the room was not an enjoyable place to be."
"Beautiful hotel - loved the staff, the spa and the food. Thing that let it down was there was a massive street party outside. Techno music blaring until 3am so left very tired. "
"I have stayed many places around the world and the Mimpi is one of my all time favorites. I extended my stay from three weeks to a full month. The staff are exceptional, the massage thereapists and resteraunt are oustanding. Acess to world class diving right off the front steps including the Liberty Wreck. I will definitlely be returning to the Mimpi!"
"We stayed for two nights at Quenzo Hotel Padangbai and had such a beautiful experience. It was a romantic trip, and I organised a surprise romantic package for my partner on arrival — the setup was absolutely amazing and made the moment really special.
What impressed me even more was that I organised everything from abroad via WhatsApp, and the team catered to all my requests and helped bring everything together perfectly. They were so accommodating and made it incredibly easy to arrange something special for my partner.
The service was honestly 5-star. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay, and they made us feel genuinely looked after.
One of the highlights was a day trip with Darma, who treated us like family. He took us to the Gates of Heaven, a honeybee farm where we tried kopi luwak (the famous “poo coffee”), and an incredible lookout. It was such a memorable day and made the trip even more special.
We stayed in a villa which was spectacular — beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for a romantic getaway. The food was delicious, and we loved relaxing by the pool bar as well.
Overall it was an amazing stay and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend!"
"The pool was fabulous and romantic, the room was spacious, 4 nice pillows and comfortable king bed, great air conditioning, romantic outdoor bathroom (totally private in stone enclosure) with rubber plants. room made up daily. free drinking water and free ice at the bar. mini fridge for our fruit and drinks. The restaurant was a little over priced but it is a 4 minute walk to the main street with many inexpensive restaurants and local bars. My favorite place to eat was ACK chicken similar to KFC but extremely cheap, fresh chicken processed daily never frozen (it is illegal in Bali to serve previously frozen chicken at restaurants). Take a grab (Asia's Uber) from the airport (2.5 hour drive) then take grabs to tour the island to see waterfall's and temples."
"My wife and I spent two nights at the incredible Samanvaya Resort. Unfortunately this was at the end of our time in Bali, or we likely would have changed plans so we could stay longer. Everything was perfect, from the incredible restaurants to the views. Waking up in our own little villa overlooking the rice terraces was a special experience every morning. The staff deserve an 11/10, going the extra distance to help out at any opportunity.
Highly highly recommended!"
