"Stayed here 2 nights as I was attending nearby Festival. I Called Les the host and he was very accommodating leaving my keys in the safe box. The room was clean and housekeeping came daily. The bed was very Comfortable i had 2 really good night sleep here. Bayside is right next to the beach which was a bonus as it was a warm bank holiday weekend. Definitely recommend a stay here."

"Lovely well maintained modern rooms with sparkling bathroom and plenty of hot water for great shower. Nice to see eco facilities. Breakfast and dinner were superb and akin to gastro pub quality and generously portioned. We wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we visit family in the area. Staff were friendly and accommodating at all times."

The only things that let it down, was the annexe we stayed in, could of done with a bit of updating and an iron. But other than that i would advise staying in one of the rooms inside the hotel. "As soon as I checked in, friendly lovely staff members let me check in a bit early which helped as I had heavy suitcase and I got my room straight. They gave me recommendations for food nearby too which was really helpful as I wasn’t sure what was good local foods.
If you want a place to stay in Barry this is it for sure.
And one other positive right next to the Barry station within good walking distance."

"Warm welcome and friendly staff, however quite a modest property even for a BnB and at this price point. Small room with very small shower. Fine breakfast but only instant freeze dried coffee, and few options if you don't want a fry up. Immediate area full of litter on streets (like most of Barry). I know this isn't their fault but it's a location point. Overall a fine place to stay but I'm surprised current reviews are quite so high -- afterall, a warm and friendly welcome should be expected...
