"Das Hotel und vor allem die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen. Leider war vor allem das Bad in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Die Toilette selbst war sehr tief und der Sitz defekt. Die Dusche war an vielen Stellen schimmelig bzw. rostig. Jedes normale Hotel hätte solche Mängel selbstverständlich beseitigt, hier anscheinend nicht. Das Frühstück mit Blick auf den Golfplatz war das einzige Highlight. Essen und Service war gut."

"The rooms do not have air conditioning or individual controls. The food was OK but took a long time to get to our table. There was a secret on how to push the button on the elevator. Other than those items we enjoyed our stay."

"The hotel was extremely warm and each hallway had an odd smell. The bathroom sink is as clogged. The beds were not very comfortable. We had a 3 bed room and each bed was lumpy and only had 1 pillow. We would not recommend for a stay before a long flight."

"I literally happened upon this property in a beautiful coastal suburb, Malahide, right outside of Dublin. I had never heard of Malahide, but a lovely Irish woman suggested I stay at the Grand Hotel for my last night in Dublin. It was a fantastic tip. The hotel gave me the peacefulness and calm I needed before my flight home to Los Angeles. The village it is in is just beautiful with tons of restaurants and the famous Gibney's bar. "Only stayed the one night, for early flight convenience. Super quick check in and check out but the star was the airport shuttle, on time and convenient."

"The room was clean and staff was excellent. However, there are no ice machines in the hotel. To get ice you have to call the restaurant and they will only bring up one bucket at a cost of €7. There are no refrigerators in the room either or microwave. Very basic and not like in the US AND Canada."

"The staff at this hotel were very welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, our room looked like it had not been cleaned very well. When we first arrived, we noticed there was change on one of the desks, presumably from the last guest. There was also a lot of lint/ fuzz on the carpets. After we had settled in, we went into the bathroom and noticed that there was something visible under the bathroom counter. It was a mouldy lemon. Not sure how long this had been there.
