Gem of Hoi An

This was an amazing place. The staff was the highlight of our visit to Hoi An. Lan was delightful and they while staff went above and beyond in so many ways. Located in a quiet side street on the river it was a nice escape from the noise of the town center but walking distance to shops and restaurants near by. We had no idea what to expect before arriving but found a treasure upon arrival. They set up excursions and transportation and all costs were very reasonable. Thank You so Much

체크아웃날 조식을 못먹었는데 포장해주셨어요 다들 너무 친절하고 좋으셨고..아이들을 많이 예뻐하시더라구요 늦은밤 수영장에서 놀면 조명도 켜 주러 나오시고 택시도 불러주어서 근처 올드타운이나 해변,다낭 나갈때도 잘 이용했어요 큰 플라밍고 튜브를 거기에 두고 왔어요 놀러가시는분들 예쁜사진 찍으세요~ 나중에 한번 더 가고 싶은 리조트에요 가성비 최고

Great quaint place to stay with all the modern amenities

The staff at Van Lan Reviera Villas was just amazing. They served up a vegetarian breakfast every morning at 7.30 am and took care of us with lot of love and affection. Three cheers for every one of the staff members. They truly represent the Vietnam spirit of hospitality and generosity.

예쁘지만 불편함도 있다

매우 친절하고 편안했습니다 하지만 주변에 편의시설이 없고 택시나 그랩을 이용하기가 까다롭습니다 (올드타운과 가까워서 그런지 잘 안 가려고하고 택시비 바가지) 하지만 숙소가 너무 예뻐서 좋았어요 근데 수영장 물이 너무 뿌얘서 청결해보이지않아 수영을 못했어요 ㅠㅠ

Helppo ja vaivaton Sisäänkirjoittautuminen. Hyvin ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hiljainen ja rauhallinen sijainti. Sopii pienten lasten perheille. Hoi anin vanhaan kaupunkiin kahden kilometrin kävelymatka ja cua dai rannalle noin neljä kilometriä. Aamiainen hyvä ja respasta saa tilattua hiukopalaa muulloinkin. Suosittelen ja voisin varata uudelleen.

A really enjoyable stay!

We stayed here with my wife for quite some time. The staff is extremely nice! The Villas are really big and enjoyable with a front terrace. Breakfast is served every morning next to the river which is very nice. Van LAN is located in a really quiet location but only 10 mins away from old town with bikes that are provided to you for free. So definitely a place to stay if you do not want to stay in the busy part of town.

Very lovely staff

We enjoyed our stay, although we didn’t manage to cook for ourselves, which was one of the reasons we got rooms with a kitchen. There was no supermarket close, and there were not many pots and pans. The villa was a short taxi ride from Hoi An and was quiet and peaceful. The bathrooms could use a bit of upgrading...very strange huge outdoor baths with chipped tiles...it didn’t look as though anybody had used them for years. If they were taken out there would be space for an outside table and chairs. There were chairs outside but not with any privacy.

호이안 방문시 재방문하고 싶은 숙소

근처 식당이나 가게 등 주변 시설이 아무것도 없고, 빌라 2층에 개미집도 있고 불편함은 있었으나 직원의 서비스로 모든게 해결되는 곳이었습니다. 4인 가족이 사용하기에 불편함 없는 빌라 내부도 괜찮았으며, 빌라 내 수영장도 작지만 이용하기 불편하지는 않았습니다. 단. 수영장 깊이가 다양해서 아이 동반한 부모님은 신경을 써야 할 것입니다. 무료 제공되는 조식 또한 내용이 훌륭합니다. 호이안에 다시 가게 되면 재방문 의사 있습니다.

Neighbourhood setting between old town and beach

We had booked a resort on the beach knowing what we would expect with facilities, food, staff, and luxury etc but decided to add on 5 nights earlier to the resort transfer, to experience (with our 5 and 8 year old boys) more of a 'down home' authentic and real Vietnamese cultural experience - Van Lan Riviera Villas are a small and modest group of 2 x double storey villas and 2 or 3 single villas - we had the one of the double storey Villas, and the small lads shared the big queen sized bed downstairs (they also had their own ensuite). The accommodation is on a tiny road just off a main road and is easily accessed by taxi. The grounds are tidy, tropical, and the pool refreshing. The rooms are air-conditioned and comfortable. They are not resort quality but don't aim to be either. Our family all thought the facilities were absolutely fine - previous reviews have mentioned loud roosters and the like at night and early in the morning and yes, this is the case... but you are basically amongst families with small blocks of land and they are just trying to earn a buck. You are immersed in a small village and it is enchanting, and secluded. The absolute highlight are the staff - they go beyond expectations, and are incredibly willing and wanting to assist, yet respect your (tourist) space. Extras were thrown in for us (such as lunches) because we were staying a few days (almost a week) - the Pho for breakfast was our best in Hoi An! Would stay again.

Quiet and peaceful oasis.

We had a brief stay in Van Lan Riviera villas just outside the very busy Hoi An. It was very clean, comfortable with lovely decor. The staff were also obliging and pleasant to deal with. Although it is a little way out of town, we enjoyed the walk and peaceful location.

Great villas in peaceful location

Spacious and quiet villas in very peaceful location. About 3km to market and ancient town, only about 35000 dong in taxi or hire scooter from hotel as we did. Owners very helpful and pleasing. Had a great stay. There are only six villas on the property and we had the place almost to ourselves for most nights.

Horrible. What words can express my last night nightmare? As soon as coming back to my country at 6:30 am in the morning, I am writing this feedback. Cause I want everyone who is thinking to stay in this villa to know my experience. Our family stayed here for 3nights. The staffs there are good. The villa was comfortable. First I booked 2 nights but I booked one more night in hotels.com because my flight was 12:30 am. I didn't want to get tired with my 6-year-son. So we were going to check out at 9:30pm. At that time we try to check out, one staff who can't speak English called the owner of villa. He came. and he said "Our staff gave 5 towels but 2 towels are missing so I must check your baggage." Since I don't have much time for flight I opened my baggage with very uncomfortable face. He checked every baggage even my wife's underwear bag to find some cheap old dirty towels like immigration worker. But even say sorry. And the result, No towels are in my bag. We were easy guests. Just relaxing in the pool. But only thing I did mistake I thought is I didn't use their shuttle to airport. so they might not get commission from the driver. I don't know how they got a good grade in hotels.com. Again the staffs are all good service even if they had a hard communication. But the owner of that villa is not a service man, but the police man who checks the guest's luggage to find towels.

First I booked 2 nights but I booked one more night in hotels.com because my flight was 12:30 am. I didn't want to get tired with my 6-year-son. So we were going to check out at 9:30pm. At that time we try to check out, one staff who can't speak English called the owner of villa. He came. and he said "Our staff gave 5 towels but 2 towels are missing so I must check your baggage." Since I don't have much time for flight I opened my baggage with very uncomfortable face. He checked every baggage even my wife's underwear bag to find some cheap old dirty towels like immigration worker. But even say sorry. And the result, No towels are in my bag.

舒适的享受

缺点是距离景点有点远，需要踩单车或开车过去，步行的话极度不便，而且附近很多小动物，我比较怕。房子非常好，非常喜欢，上下两个大床，还有客厅，适合度假

ホイアン中心部から少し離れた、落ち着いた空間に囲まれたヴィラ

2015年5月に家族5人で利用しました。（大人2人、子供3人） 子供も小さいのがいるのと、1部屋で宿泊できるところを探していて、このヴィラを 見つけました。写真にある通り非常に綺麗なヴィラです。ホイアンの街中心部から 2㎞程度離れた、自然に囲まれた空間にあります。 6棟ほどの小さなヴィラですが、泊まった部屋は2階建て。シャワーの出が少し緩い のが難点でしたが、それ以外は清潔感あり。部屋も広々としています。 ヴィラのスタッフは明るく、いつも笑顔で挨拶してくれます。食事は朝だけとり ましたが、7種類くらいから選べました。ボリュームは十分です。とてもおいしく 頂きました。 小さな娘がいたので、レンタサイクルできるかどうかと思っていましたが、 1台後ろに乗せられる自転車があり、また小学生向けのやや小さ目な自転車も あり、家族4台借りて、街中に繰り出せました。 街中まで時間を掛けないで出たい方には向かないですが、自然に囲まれ、 のんびりした空間を求める方にはおすすめのヴィラです。

Nice hotel by the river

This hotel is a home stay villa near the river. There are mosquitoes in the area. The hotel is far from old town. Hotel is clean and staff are very friendly. Nice breakfast menu.
