"I think the photos give the impression that this property is a little more "together" than it actually is. Whilst the bed linen and towels were on point and the bedding itself very comfortable, I'm afraid everything else was old, tired and mismatched making it feel more like someone else's holiday shack than simple cottage. The equipment in the kitchen is mismatched and hodge-podge and very minimal. Bring everything if you plan on cooking here, including utensils and oil etc. No milk was...

"Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, warm house. Too much large furniture and too many knick knacks made the property feel very crowded. "

"We stayed in the converted signal box which was delightful. Photos on the wall downstairs show the work involved in getting the box from Ballarat, and there are items from the box's original use on display."
