"All in all we had a good stay there. Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed. Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there. It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd. "This is the most terrible place to stay. No deep clean undertaken in ann extremely long time. Only surface clean. Cottage smelt of old fat and cooking. The bbq was unusable it was that disgusting. There was cat pee still smelling near the bed. The only good thing was the linen was clean. The owner has no care and no interest in coming to the party to provide a refund. Never stay here ever. "

"Excellent park, very central to everything we needed to see in Ballarat. Only downside (which is quite a big one) the mosquito screens are needing replaced as a result out cabin was filled with mosquitoes. Resulting inis getting so many bites all over our body. Also the floors needed to be cleaned. "

"Orchard Cottage was a lovely stay- it was bright and airy. The cottage has two generous sized bedrooms and living area plus a large bathroom with 2 showers and spa. The grounds are amazing to walk around. And it is not too far from Castlemaine."
