Very clean motel. The price is great for the stay. although it is pretty loud from the highway right next to it, that doesn’t bother me too much but it might bother others. the guy who runs this place is a nice quiet man. He keeps the rooms very clean. there is an orange cat that is extremely friendly. He was my best friend in my stay here, the sweetest little angel. I just thought that was a plus.

The property is an "older" property which has been remodeled inside the rooms. The rooms have new paint, flooring, bathroom facilities, bed, TV, and A/C. The room inside was nice, The property outside was old and dated. The room was a good value for the price paid, and the access to Dallas was convenient. Once inside the room, it is a comfortable room.

No house keeping for 5 days

When i first got there, it was hard understand the check lady, but she told me i couldn't have guests come see me, which i thought was very rude, but once i checked in, in went to room, very nice when i walked in. Nice and clean. But i was there for 5 days and house cleaning NEVER came not one time. I went and bought my own towels to use.

I was leery about staying at a "non-chain" motel. But, I can NOT say enough about my experience! The gentleman, at the front desk, was very nice and my check-in was quick. The room was very clean. The best part was the close proximity to the federal prison at Seagoville. I visit my best friend there, every two months, and Golden Inn is going to be my lodging from now on! One critique would be to have a television channel listing. After a 6 hour drive, I really don't want to have to "hunt" for my favorite channels. Other than that, I would recommend Golden Inn Motel to everyone!! Keep up the great work!!

There were people sitting outside their rooms, like this was their permanent residence. They wanted a cash deposit after I already paid for my reservation with my credit card. There was drinks and food left in the fridge, and noticed several dead roaches on the floor.

Cute little old motor lodge. Rooms had been renovated. Everything was clean and comfy.

This property is an older hotel, probably from the 60's or 70's. It has been completelly updated and is very nice. Great rooms, great rate, very clean and comfortable for a place to just sleep.

The rooms were lovely and clean… the doors and locks were flimsy. There were a lot of cars coming in and out, so I felt unsafe and checked out the same day I arrived. Didn’t spend one night there.

Apparently if you do “pay at property” you have to be checked in by 3pm but check in doesn’t start until 3pm. When I tried to call and be courteous about what time we were going to be getting into town, the front desk agent (who did not understand what I was saying and could hardly speak English) proceeded to tell me to call her manager. When I called the number she gave me it took me back to her and after explaining to her what happened, she hung up on me. Once I finally got ahold of the manager, he was nice but explained that it was not his fault, it was the policy.

I did alot of research before I decided to write this at first I thought this was a great motel not the best on the outside but the inside looks alright and came with a mini fridge and a microwave not to bad but I’m pretty sure I got bit by bed bugs I woke up with red itchy bumps on my arms I waited a few days after to write this review to make sure to research and to see if the bumps would shrink or stop itching so much because most bug bites disappear or get smaller within 48 hours it was not the case for these bumps it’s been 48 hours and there just as red and itch even more!! after looking up symptoms and pictures of bed bug bites I’m more then positive that’s what I got I stayed in room 9 maybe there not in every room but I guess that’s what I get for wanting something so cheap
